Hey Man, it is not a Hobby wish people would stop calling it a Hobby people have dogs and cats they are a Pet, you are a caretaker of living organisms … Thank You 🙏. Peace Out. ✌️
I definitely know the feeling. I just now started keeping SPS and my first piece was a green slimer. I wake up in the morning and run over to the tank to see how it’s doing every morning.
March is the best gave me a free hammer coral today, first time at the shop means a lot! Keep up the hard work love the videos! Cant wait for that Australian shipment video!!
Newer to the Hobie (coming up to one year) and I've noticed even the short time prices has gone up and the names have gone wild. Coming from the GTA I know all about these "super rainbow ultra" names. People are jumping on these band wagons and making a large profit. That's why I appreciate what you've been doing for the hobby with these videos and cheap frags you sell. If you didn't sell acro's for such a great price I probbaly would have given up the dream for a mixed reef and just went lps. Being able to keep the SPS and LPs together in my tank has taught me a lot and you've kept me going. 🤘
I just putting together my first saltwater tank and I love watching your videos. I learn lots about corals and it helps me decide when I’m ready what I’m going to stock my tank with. I think I’m going to go with a LPS tank so torches will definitely be on my to get list. Luckily I’m only a couple hours away from you so I’ll definitely be taking a drive when I’m ready.
Man for 150 dollars(U.S.) I would be lucky to get a dime size head torch. If I lived on the East coast, it would be definitely worth it to visit you in Toronto. The names don't mean nothing. I bought 4 torches so far and I don't even remembered what the seller called them, I bought them because I wanted a green coral, a purple one, darker green one, and a gold one and they were under 100. That is what I cared about.
Even if a torch is $5 or $500 … you have to take care for them all the same 🌴 they’re pieces of nature, regardless of the price 💪🏻 love your vids en keep up the great work March !!!
I like watching your videos, you help people a lot, a suggestion in some videos I see that you speak a little Spanish or if you could hire someone who can speak Spanish to help Latino people in their aquariums make some videos in Spanish
I might swing by next week to ask questions. I'm just getting into the hobby and sadly my local shop left me unimpressed and I'm hoping to put fish and/or corals after Christmas... That blue hammer looks great.
Im always drawn to on specific thing in your store. The Blue reef chromis. It gives your tank that Caribbean\Jamaican vibe that as a "yardie", resonates with me. Shout out to Dylan. Big up!
Oh trust me, I live in Trinidad and Tobago I appreciate corals and more so Euphyllia, torches here are way expensive, however when I wake up I do run to the tank so I can relate
I think you are right about people caring more for expensive animals. I'm a caretaker so I'm jumping out of bed to see how that coral is doing that got injured, scraped or dropped or brown with potential. I love to see (SPS esp.) healing and new tissue closing over that injury or basing out over the super glue. There's another factor to extra care for corals to me. I've had the great opportunity to get frags locally: Walt Disney, Indo Gold Torch, etc. for a fraction of the price. However, even though it was cheaper, I feel a responsibility to develop that coral so it that fellow hobbyist/seller has a crash or a loss, I can give them back a piece of what they gave me. Like a local co-op so that we can keep local strains going. (Holy sidetrack Batman) 😂
Never had success with torches. I can grow an sps frag from a small nub into a beautiful colony but torches have always eluded me. Love the channel, I finally subbed. Sorry it took so long.
Your CS looks great for the fish in it lol my store has literally almost the same fish other then instead of the orange tailed tangs we have orange eye tangs (has an all black/blue body like a gem pattern with orange eye lids and bright blue tail)
New reefer and viewer here! Just got into the hobby a couple of months ago. I do agree that although we should take care of all the corals teh same regardless of price... The pricepoint does effect how we all view certain corals in our tank.
got maybe stupid question, got fresh one aquarium and willing to try reef aquarium its very bad idea to try first steps with tuna sun kessil ? softies can be kept this way ?
It’s absolutely insane in Australia I can buy a basic torch for $15 but for a gold torch it’s $250 and upwards a head purely paying for colour and whatever awesome name they can think of.
Slightly drunk tia "march your ADHD" the other day haha!! Agree on the common names been everywhere, it was so rough starting out in reefing because everything was named different.
Are these torches maricultured? I see they come on a base. My lfs sells alot of maricultured coral now from indo and they all come on a 2x2 inch square tile or some big round plug with a number attached.
Is something wrong with my torch if i'm not getting the same extension as you are? I have 2 heads and the tentacles are only extending maybe 2.5 inches but they usually stay pretty short.
I love torches. I can’t agree with you more on that whole name thing which is killing hobbiests like us that just love it for what it looks like. Do you ship to Massachusetts?
I totally agree with you march, I’ve been trying to learn about the Latin names of every coral I purchase , sometimes the seller is like wtf with this guy but I don’t care about the fancy marketing names I go for what looks nice.
so i have tried to put torchs in my tank twice now and they die within 2 days. big sad. both times were from the same seller and they were shipped to me i guess when i try it next its going to have to be local.
Wild torch faced jelly brown, bail out. if you are a newbie and don't have experience to take care it, the polyp might be short and in some cases, they losing yellow color
@@grantswagg13 def not the flow. I’ve tried moving it everywhere with the same results. Tentacle was 3+ inch long when I first got it and it slowly retracted. Otherwise looks healthy tho
I live in indonesia and I do agree and not agree with the coral pricing... Cuz someone near me have a reef tank and the scenario was similiar like the vietnam guy, but in the other hand i do not agree because i'm broke af 😂... I still in the college and i do care a lot with my coral no matter if it the 2 US dollar one or other more expensive one
I think in general whether fish or coral you act differently when it cost more however I think people start to overthink or change and mess with the tank more often which isn’t good, I just try to stay consistent regardless of price
Also yes what your saying is true. But let me ask do we care for our dogs or cats depending on how much you paid for them? I have a free Serberian Husky all white with silver eyes i gor for free and i have pure blood poodle which cost me $3k and a irish doodle that cost me $2k do i care for the more expensive dogs more? No i do not i care for all of them the same way That should be the way corals should be also. Even if i get a freebie and it dies im truly sad. Its a living thing and if it dies on my watch i feel so guilty
Man I don't get all the names either - sure some look better than others so they should be more expensive but i don't get the different names especially for gold torches that to me all look pretty much the same
My gold indo torch isn't so colorful as when I got it but it will come back with time and stability I am sure. Aussie Gold are hard to keep I hear but I love the shorter (and fat) tentacles. Love torches - I also have a yellow tipped purple torch that is my favourite piece for sure. Would love to get a proper Holy Grail but those things are scrazy sexpensive ;)
One of the nicest coral for sure! Anything that moves and have gorgeous colour like this one I’m sold!

Those torches are really nice. They are my favourite corals along with Duncans.
I cannot wait to come next week and get some in store shopping for once
Love that you are giving to the watchers that are not only in Canada 👍🏾
✋Florida here!! I just wanted to say hi dude lol. Great content beautiful corals.
I agree 100% the more it cost the more i worry about whats in my tank. I took the time to learn how to take care of my coral.
In Indonesia the torch coral price around 10-30 bucks per frag.
An 7 branches golden torch is shining in my LFS for some weeks now for over 850euro (Netherlands)
I like watching your videos, you help people a lot, a suggestion in some videos I see that you speak a little Spanish or if you could hire someone who can speak Spanish to help Latino people in their aquariums make some videos in Spanish
Elegance is about 9 dollars in Indonesia, the price is depending on what color you want to get, I think it's range around 9-20 bucks
And torch coral is shockingly cheaper 7-30 depending on how many heads they have
I currently live in Vietnam and common soft coral found in Vietnam cost around $10 to $20.
I might swing by next week to ask questions. I'm just getting into the hobby and sadly my local shop left me unimpressed and I'm hoping to put fish and/or corals after Christmas... That blue hammer looks great.

Torches do better with other LPS because they like higher nutrients, mine does well in .07 PO4 and 10 NO3. Mixed reef tanks are tough to keep.
Great corals.
Really enjoy your videos!
Greetings from Germany

"Too many words for an old guy with adhd" I hear you 🤣🤣🤣💯

I'm going to go out on a limb and putting everything into something called a "Homewrecker" is probably not a good idea. 😂
In indonesia you can get elegance coral between 10-30 bucks it depends on the size or the color of the coral
So the dragon soul looks exactly like my dragon here in the US. If your indo gold has a green mouth we call it a NY nicks torch here in the US.
" This is yellow toch and this is more yellow torch" Ha! Names I can remember.
Lol I can't
Got your self a sub, great content kepp up the great work 👍🏾

I truly wish to buy some corals from you March. Is it possible?
Is something wrong with my torch if i'm not getting the same extension as you are? I have 2 heads and the tentacles are only extending maybe 2.5 inches but they usually stay pretty short.
It's hard to keep up with the names. I have a 24k torch not sure the name of the other one. I'm guessing dragon soul
I love torches. I can’t agree with you more on that whole name thing which is killing hobbiests like us that just love it for what it looks like.

so i have tried to put torchs in my tank twice now and they die within 2 days. big sad. both times were from the same seller and they were shipped to me i guess when i try it next its going to have to be local.
As a Vietnamese, I completely agree with that. Due to the economic crisis, a mint tip banana torch only costs you 25 and a full yellow ds is only 30 😭
Imported torches will follow the market price but a wild torch is way cheaper
Wild torch faced jelly brown, bail out. if you are a newbie and don't have experience to take care it, the polyp might be short and in some cases, they losing yellow color
Yo. At 12 min "why is this still here" I wanted that one! It was marked sold on your site while I was there... 😥
You even asked me if I got everything I wanted.. "no, the one I want is sold" 😂
Love your shop. Did you fabricate the long display tanks? It's all very sharp. Best regards from Detroit
thnaks man ! every single aquarium custom made in house
@@fragboxcorals - Excellent work. If I were to have a coral shop, I would probably snitch your designs lol.
what configuration use in radions in euphillias tank?
Are the torches 180 per head?
Got any tips? My single torch only extends about < 2cm max. My parameters are just right. Everything else (sps, lps, softies) are growing just fine
too much flow? or it could be the short tentacle species too
@@grantswagg13 def not the flow. I’ve tried moving it everywhere with the same results. Tentacle was 3+ inch long when I first got it and it slowly retracted. Otherwise looks healthy tho

Send me some Coral for cheap hahaha
Where do I find Latin names? Please!!!!
What did you say about the light and keeping the poltergeist in the basement?
It’s the BRStv Investigates red torch tank with Bonny c,own fish in it. That’s exactly what I want to replicate in my tank.
per usual, great content. keep up the awesome work :)
Great video March

Also you said that we would never see betta fish on this channel lol
Did you forget Tia video at her house we saw a betta lol😂
I need that long tentacle Japanese toadstool! 😍
🤤 those are so pretty… desperately trying not to buy an Indo gold today 😂
Which gen of radions do you using?
Do you have euphilla torch corals that clownfish will host in, I want a whole tank ok these if I have the name wrong please contact me.
indo gold torch $200 for 1 hand?
Man those corals that you were on sale for $100 CAD man in the States they would have been gone so so so so long ago even at $300 lol
My LFS here in Australia sells some torches for $15/head
Do you ship to the UK 🇬🇧 lol
No he only ships inside of Canada and he only ships certain type of corals too ones that won’t die in shipping
just got 6 head dragonsoul for 13bucks in indonesia
Why did you have to make that negatif comment about Betta's;) now i demand a special about Tina's Betta!
First coffee than i chek on my reef tank😅
I just lost my first hammer coral I think my shrimp killed it also killed my small clam the evil shrimp everyone else is doing great in tank
Shrimp are satan incarnate.
that acan for 100 is insane
I’m the same
You should add the name March’s Full Experience....Fragbox: March’s Full Experience. Free give away? Mugs?!

When I wake up I pee first
