I think it shows his character when she says he talked to the band and asked their names during the breaks, and the fact that other guests usually don't talk to the band made me sad- they make the musical segments amazing!

아이유 팔레트 최고입니다~ 오시는 분들과 하모니가 정말 멋져요. 뮤지션분만 초대될 줄 알았는데 다양한 분야의 분들을 모신다면 다음에는 배우 공유님도 꼭 초대해주세요~ 십 여년 전에 학생 아이유가 공유님 라디오에 나왔는데 이번에 서로 역할이 바뀌어서 만난다면 너무 반가울것같아요. 공유님을 팔레트에서 볼 수 있길 정말로 바래봅니다~
유튜브의 순기능 중 하나다. 지상파에서 아이유를 메인MC로 두고 프로를 하라고 했음 나오지 않을 그림이기도 하고 시도도 하지 않았을 것이고 제작진 본인들이 좌지우지 했을 것. 지금은 아무 부담없이 보게 된다. 물론 제작진도 있고 퀄도 좋지만 아무래도 더 공감이 되고 소통도 되고 아티스트와 그와 함께하는 제작진 고민으로 만들어 지는 것 같아.
영상을 다 봤네요 ㅎㅎ 지방에서 5시간 걸려서 변요한 팬미팅을 간 적이 있는데, 팬미팅이 처음이라 공지된 대로 1시간 반이면 끝나는 줄 알고 약속을 잡았는데 3시간이 넘게 걸려서 끝났다죠. 팬미팅에서 느낀 건 참 진솔하고 진중하고.. 뭐랄까 진정성이 있는 사람 같았어요. (말주변이 없다 느껴질 만큼 횡설수설하고 말을 더듬는데도 진심을 표현하려 함, 팬한테 고민상담을 해주는 코너에는 오랜 시간을 투자해서 진심으로 상담해줌) 공백이 길어지더라도 작품 선택도 공들여서 하는 것 같고요. 이 영상을 보니까 팬미팅의 추억이 새록새록 떠오를 만큼 배우 변요한, 사람 변요한의 매력을 잘 전달해주는 회차인 것 같아요. 영화의 진정성이 희석될까봐 홍보 얘기를 아예 안하고 싶다는 변요한, 줄곧 쑥스러워하는 변요한 ㅎㅎ.. 이게 변요한의 매력이라고 생각하거든요. 러브포엠을 그런 의미로 좋아하다니 내가 아이유였으면 의미가 남달랐을 것 같네요 ㅎㅎ. 둘이 듀엣 합 너무 잘 맞아요~~ 이런 재밌고 소중한 인터뷰 영상 남겨주셔서 정말 감사합니다~

I love love love how much content I’m getting from YOHAN these days like him being on variety shows and stuff like this makes me so happy. He’s literally one of my fav actors love all him shows and movies. This was such an unexpected collab but I’m so happy they did thissss anyway guys please check out his dramas and movies he’s an amazing actor and as u can see has a beautiful personality as well
he seems like a very calm, simple and easy going man. he’s quiet too, which is surprisingly different from his role in mr sunshine so i feel easily captivated by him. i also didn’t expect him to sing and expected even less to hear love poem is part of his working out playlist. and jieun looks so happy and comfortable!! just makes me think that being her friend must be really nice. while every guest gets a little shy, she tries to make them feel comfortable so effortlessly by smiling and playing around and doing a simple but deep interview. i’m sure everyone that meets her falls in love with her a little [bit more]
IU’s really working hard as a mc 😅 from the guest coming to promote his movie but not wanting to talk much about it, to feeding her himself, and coming up with interesting questions 😁 she’s so hardworking in her role
IU's palette provides a comfortable atmosphere for idols, actors and artists to promote everything they've got without feeling any pressure. She's really doing a great job here.
Can I just take a moment to say that when IU/Edam started Homestay I saw the potential of it becoming something like an interview setup later on. Eventually Palette was born from Homestay and can I say how proud of I am of her, because SHINee and Yohan chose to promote on her platform and that says a lot. She's hosted before and has a long history of Mcing, so for other entertainers to put their trust in her is pretty cool. If you're an OG, I believe the first celebrity she interviewed might have been PSY way back when she did Hereos. She makes others comfortable talking to her and it makes them easier to talk without feeling they need to act a certain way. So way to go IU and Edam!
Yes she showed so much potential from that interview with Psy, the questions are so genuine. As Noh Sayeon puts it, there's nothing IU can't be good at.
I'd be emotional if IU invites Psy (or he himself requests) to Palette 😭 I love their relationship, there's so much admiration, care, and respect there
yesss i remember in her first variety show, heroes she interviewed psy and she did a lot of things since then i mean she has gone through a long way in the entertainment industry, it’s only natural for her to be this good💜

IU's palette is widening its range. Its good that actors gets to guest here and promote themselves like musicians do. And since our IU is an actress herself, she can relate well with both musician and actor guests.

Byun Yohan said he sang Run On ost because he watched the drama for "people he knew" and it's Siwan from Misaeng(2014) and Sekyung from Six Flying Dragons(2015)..Yohan is so sweet and supportive of his former co-stars even if they worked together a long time ago
IU actually worked with Siwan as a couple before, their 3rd wheel being Kwanghee. It was actually Siwan who brought me to My Mister, I loved Misaeng, the production team of Misaeng and My Mister are the same. Just sharing. 😅
If you only see him few times in kdramas (small screen) that doesn't mean he is not popular or underrated. He appears more on big screens (movies) and that makes him well-known and popular in Korea.
I love the fact that when the duet part of Love Poem, IU would perfectly match his rhythm, this basically means she has an amazing skills in controlling her voice and at the same time honouring her guest n not make them to feel bad for their lack of singing ability especially when he is an actor.
Byun Yohan is one of my favorite actors, versatile so talented I always looking forward to his next project, and him sitting next to IU my fave or in one frame...Halp! I wish they work together in a drama too I miss Byun Yohan on screen
I love that this is their first interaction, and yet they made it comfortable for each other. I really did not expect to see Byun Yohan here, but I’m happy that he came. Him singing run on ost to support his friends was such a sweet gesture.

매주 스케쥴의 압박이 없지요. ㅎㅎ 비정기적이니까요. 그점도 크게 작용햇을겁니다.

영상을 다 봤네요 ㅎㅎ 지방에서 5시간 걸려서 변요한 팬미팅을 간 적이 있는데, 팬미팅이 처음이라 공지된 대로 1시간 반이면 끝나는 줄 알고 약속을 잡았는데 3시간이 넘게 걸려서 끝났다죠. 팬미팅에서 느낀 건 참 진솔하고 진중하고.. 뭐랄까 진정성이 있는 사람 같았어요. (말주변이 없다 느껴질 만큼 횡설수설하고 말을 더듬는데도 진심을 표현하려 함, 팬한테 고민상담을 해주는 코너에는 오랜 시간을 투자해서 진심으로 상담해줌) 공백이 길어지더라도 작품 선택도 공들여서 하는 것 같고요. 이 영상을 보니까 팬미팅의 추억이 새록새록 떠오를 만큼 배우 변요한, 사람 변요한의 매력을 잘 전달해주는 회차인 것 같아요. 영화의 진정성이 희석될까봐 홍보 얘기를 아예 안하고 싶다는 변요한, 줄곧 쑥스러워하는 변요한 ㅎㅎ.. 이게 변요한의 매력이라고 생각하거든요. 러브포엠을 그런 의미로 좋아하다니 내가 아이유였으면 의미가 남달랐을 것 같네요 ㅎㅎ. 둘이 듀엣 합 너무 잘 맞아요~~

he seems like a very calm, simple and easy going man. he’s quiet too, which is surprisingly different from his role in mr sunshine so i feel easily captivated by him. i also didn’t expect him to sing and expected even less to hear love poem is part of his working out playlist.
and jieun looks so happy and comfortable!! just makes me think that being her friend must be really nice. while every guest gets a little shy, she tries to make them feel comfortable so effortlessly by smiling and playing around and doing a simple but deep interview. i’m sure everyone that meets her falls in love with her a little [bit more]

Can I just take a moment to say that when IU/Edam started Homestay I saw the potential of it becoming something like an interview setup later on. Eventually Palette was born from Homestay and can I say how proud of I am of her, because SHINee and Yohan chose to promote on her platform and that says a lot. She's hosted before and has a long history of Mcing, so for other entertainers to put their trust in her is pretty cool. If you're an OG, I believe the first celebrity she interviewed might have been PSY way back when she did Hereos. She makes others comfortable talking to her and it makes them easier to talk without feeling they need to act a certain way. So way to go IU and Edam!

I love that this is their first interaction, and yet they made it comfortable for each other. I really did not expect to see Byun Yohan here, but I’m happy that he came. Him singing run on ost to support his friends was such a sweet gesture.
