Pakistan 🇵🇰 lost for the same reason that Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, lost to Israel 🇮🇱 in every war. Their officers were playboys from connected families, got their ranks through nepotism, and were treated like princes, while the soldiers were poor peasant boys and were treated like slaves. In all third-world armies, you have unmotivated troops and incompetent officers. India was different, For the Sikhs and Gurkhas, war was a tradition.

Thanks for another relevant look at South Asian history. There wasn't much hue and cry in West Pakistan about the atrocities committed in East Pakistan in 1971. There were a few opponents at the time but a very small minority. A major reason for the fear of Sheikh Mujib ruling the Western wing was that the Punjabis considered the Bengalis inferior. Interestingly, this sense of superiority is reflected among many Pakistanis even now. So, it is ironic that despite being looked down upon for decades, despite having thousands of their women raped, despite having lakhs of their brethren killed mercilessly, so many Bangladeshis still consider Pakistan their friend and brother. For much of Bangladesh's post-1971 history, the governments have tried to be close to Pakistan, which is kind of hilarious.

Blaming Bhutto for the breakup of Pakistan ignores the fact that he was neither in government nor part of the decision-making body when critical decisions were being made. It seems you have not studied or researched thoroughly, as political advisors to Yahya Khan were predominantly right-wing politicians, especially from Jamaat-e-Islami and Urdu League-affiliated civil bureaucrats. Jamaat-e-Islami was authorized by Yahya Khan to form the Al-Shams and Al-Badr militias in Bengal, which were fully empowered to eliminate Mukti Bahini and other Bengali insurgents. To understand how many innocent Bengalis were slaughtered by these militias, ask any Bengali. The Urdu League, established by Liaqat Ali Khan, controlled East Pakistan politically and administratively until their influence was eradicated during the events of 1971.

You did not mention that 10 million refugees from East Pakistan flooded into India. Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India, did a tour of Western capitals. They could offer no assurance or plan that the refugees would be able to return to East Pakistan. Nixon, in particular, was more worried about using Yahya Khan as a go between to set up US-China diplomatic relations. It is at that point that Indira Gandhi made a decisive tilt towards the USSR.

In terms of cause and effect, it is clear that West Pakistani action preceded Indian action.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was justified in criticizing Biharis because they dominated the provincial establishment and marginalized Bengali youth from government jobs. This situation arose when Liaqat Ali Khan integrated Biharis into Bengal's civil institutions. Due to their dominance in administrative affairs, Biharis were undermining Bengali politicians as well, forcing some of them to leave Pakistan. However, Mujib never resorted to hate speech against Hindus. He was a liberal leader and a staunch Bengali nationalist.

It is Pakistan army which broke Pakistan in 1971.
    Shocking, but true.
The Bengalis wanted maximum autonomy, not complete secession from Pakistan.
It was the intellectuals, particularly the economists, who were the major force behind the 6 points of maximum autonomy to East Pakistan.
The 1940 Lahore resolution described Pakistan as a coalition of sovereign autonomous states.
The biggest blunder Pakistan committed in 1971, is treating East Pakistan Rifles and East Bengal Regiment as enemy forces and attacking them in the dead of night without any provocation.
Treating the Esst Pakistan paramilitary and military forces as enemy forces, led to the creation of Mukti Bahini and birth of Bangladesh.
There was no demand for separation from Pakistan or any popular uprising against Pakistan by the general population prior to operation Searchlight.
It is East Bengal Regiment which played crucial role in the defense of Lahore in 1965 Indo Pak war. This regiment received several gallantry awards.
These facts are hidden by Pakistan after 1971.
Fact is Pakistan never accepted the Muslims from today's India and the Muslims of East Bengal.
Breakup of Pakistan was bound to happen at some point.
Even there's a huge divide between eastern and western Pakistan.

Sir, this is my 2nd comment, please do your research and present the true story about a colonel who was posted to safeguard the trains coming from India in 1947 but miserably failed to perform due to some un-published reasons and then Quaid-e-Azam show caused that colonel to explain his such failure which he again failed to explain. Then Quaid-e-Azam shouted at him saying *get loss* but Quaid-e-Azam had to pay the big price because then colonel Mr. Ayub ruled the country...
Sir you are keenly requested to bring this story in your lovely style of presentation.

I don't understand how he is trying to portray IK as Butto but not Mujib. On top of it NS was the saviour of Pak. Is this a joke.
One thing we can definitely see in his videos is his hate of IK, be it any topic, he would drag IK into it or at least pass a vile comment.
