Thanks for another relevant look at South Asian history. There wasn't much hue and cry in West Pakistan about the atrocities committed in East Pakistan in 1971. There were a few opponents at the time but a very small minority. A major reason for the fear of Sheikh Mujib ruling the Western wing was that the Punjabis considered the Bengalis inferior. Interestingly, this sense of superiority is reflected among many Pakistanis even now. So, it is ironic that despite being looked down upon for decades, despite having thousands of their women raped, despite having lakhs of their brethren killed mercilessly, so many Bangladeshis still consider Pakistan their friend and brother. For much of Bangladesh's post-1971 history, the governments have tried to be close to Pakistan, which is kind of hilarious.

What is common between Pakistan and Bangladesh vs what is uncommon between India and (Pakistan + Bangladesh). Answer is, less radicalisation relatively and acceptance of science and technology in India. That is why India has developed more than both these countries relatively.
Thank you for presenting a fact based narration of the history. If more of our leaders were doing this, we would have a much more harmonious world than what we have ended up with.
The naval fleet (Task Force 7) deployed by the US to threaten India could not do shit because the USSR sent its own submarine that was armed with nuclear warheads and the Soviet naval fleet trailed the US ship throughout the Indian Ocean, allowing India to continue the war.
@21:08 Blaming Bhutto for the breakup of Pakistan ignores the fact that he was neither in government nor part of the decision-making body when critical decisions were being made. It seems you have not studied or researched thoroughly, as political advisors to Yahya Khan were predominantly right-wing politicians, especially from Jamaat-e-Islami and Urdu League-affiliated civil bureaucrats. Jamaat-e-Islami was authorized by Yahya Khan to form the Al-Shams and Al-Badr militias in Bengal, which were fully empowered to eliminate Mukti Bahini and other Bengali insurgents. To understand how many innocent Bengalis were slaughtered by these militias, ask any Bengali. The Urdu League, established by Liaqat Ali Khan, controlled East Pakistan politically and administratively until their influence was eradicated during the events of 1971.

You did not mention that 10 million refugees from East Pakistan flooded into India. Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India, did a tour of Western capitals. They could offer no assurance or plan that the refugees would be able to return to East Pakistan. Nixon, in particular, was more worried about using Yahya Khan as a go between to set up US-China diplomatic relations. It is at that point that Indira Gandhi made a decisive tilt towards the USSR.

Operation Searchlight began in March 1971. However, Operation Jackpot, the Indian training of Mukti Bahraini began May 15, 1971. In terms of cause and effect, it is clear that West Pakistani action preceded Indian action.
@24:54 Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was justified in criticizing Biharis because they dominated the provincial establishment and marginalized Bengali youth from government jobs. This situation arose when Liaqat Ali Khan integrated Biharis into Bengal's civil institutions. Due to their dominance in administrative affairs, Biharis were undermining Bengali politicians as well, forcing some of them to leave Pakistan. However, Mujib never resorted to hate speech against Hindus. He was a liberal leader and a staunch Bengali nationalist.
It is Pakistan army which broke Pakistan in 1971. Shocking, but true. The Bengalis wanted maximum autonomy, not complete secession from Pakistan. It was the intellectuals, particularly the economists, who were the major force behind the 6 points of maximum autonomy to East Pakistan. The 1940 Lahore resolution described Pakistan as a coalition of sovereign autonomous states. The biggest blunder Pakistan committed in 1971, is treating East Pakistan Rifles and East Bengal Regiment as enemy forces and attacking them in the dead of night without any provocation. Treating the Esst Pakistan paramilitary and military forces as enemy forces, led to the creation of Mukti Bahini and birth of Bangladesh. There was no demand for separation from Pakistan or any popular uprising against Pakistan by the general population prior to operation Searchlight. It is East Bengal Regiment which played crucial role in the defense of Lahore in 1965 Indo Pak war. This regiment received several gallantry awards. These facts are hidden by Pakistan after 1971. Fact is Pakistan never accepted the Muslims from today's India and the Muslims of East Bengal. Breakup of Pakistan was bound to happen at some point. Even there's a huge divide between eastern and western Pakistan.

Syedd Muzammal, very best, unbiased analysis. Thank you very honest analysis.

2024 save Hindus in Bangladesh 😂 keep celebrating that war 😂
What is common between Pakistan and Bangladesh vs what is uncommon between India and (Pakistan + Bangladesh). Answer is, less radicalisation relatively and acceptance of science and technology in India. That is why India has developed more than both these countries relatively.
Manipur.......bjp rss = different kind of gndutva rads
This bit of the History should be taught in Pak Schools.
Glad to see you back dear Syed Muzammil. Love Respect and prayers from India 🇮🇳 ❤❤❤🙏
First comment I am a big fan Sayed Bhai ❤ love You from Sindh 🔥🚩
15:30 US SENDS ITS 7TH FLEET AND UK SENDS ITS NAVAL SHIPS TO ATTACK INDIA BUT USSR SAVED INDIA BY SENDING THEIR SUBMARINES IN ADVANCE
he make quite speed run video without total info.
Another day another video from muzammil ❤
Thank you for presenting a fact based narration of the history. If more of our leaders were doing this, we would have a much more harmonious world than what we have ended up with.
I really admire your work and efforts for the youth. You are my motivation to learn.❤❤
Love to see you back on your Podcast, leaving all that happened a week back, behind.
SALUTE FROM INDIA.
Thank you so much.
The naval fleet (Task Force 7) deployed by the US to threaten India could not do shit because the USSR sent its own submarine that was armed with nuclear warheads and the Soviet naval fleet trailed the US ship throughout the Indian Ocean, allowing India to continue the war.
Its never too late to form Confederation with out Bengali brothers
I'm pleased to see you back.
May you live long,Aamin.
@21:08
Blaming Bhutto for the breakup of Pakistan ignores the fact that he was neither in government nor part of the decision-making body when critical decisions were being made.
And how Abt establishment and Punjab
may Allah pak bless you with every blessing He has created,,,you are among very rare persons left in pakistani media who are not into hate speech without logical facts
As usual an unbiased and full of facts analysis by Muzammil. In my opinion the one responsible for breakup was power hungry Bhutto, rest of the characters were trivial.
They live in lala land and make their own story not read history leave them
The truth hurts 😢 but i must admit and move forward. My heartfelt apologies to Bangladesh.
Well said 🎉.
"Ye sb log power ki game me masroof hn or ap ki Zindagi ic ki cost h. " Love your content 😍
Its a blunder india pak war , india won but at what cost? In this war mostly Hindus got killed and today same thing is happening?? This country promise us that we will become a secular and development country and now see they're destroyed the all economy work mark my words that country will suffer a lot in future. It not a prediction it a reality ( no hate to anyone if you had a point against this statement debate respectfully )
Happy surrender day to everyone Pakistani's citizen...

Salute to you, Muzammil! 🙌👏🙏💫♾
This vlog was more important for what it did not include than what it did inclyde. I can recite a list, but this should suffice. It took me a mere 3 or 4 vlogs to figure out where Shah ji's affiliations truly lie.😂
A new and unique view of the reasons for creation of Bangladesh. Brilliant.
بنگلہ دیش کو بہت بہت مبارک ھوکم از کم ابھی توانکی عزتیں محفوظ ھیں اور ھم سے زیادہ خوشحال زندگی گذار رھے ھیں ۔
no they are still "East-pakistan"
same mindset and culture between you and pak.
Excellent, Muzammil Sahib to exposed the evil to power's hunger peoples .
God protect you from powerful evil peoples who are destroying Pakistan and humanity.
It is a mystery that why Bhutto did not like East Pakistan, as a cabinet minister of General Ayub, he never paid an official visit of East Pakistan.
Millions of refugees pored into India, Indira warned into UN that we cannot absorb this much refugees our situation was no good economically, we had no other option than intervene.

Operation Searchlight began in March 1971.
However, Operation Jackpot, the Indian training of Mukti Bahraini began May 15, 1971.
In terms of cause and effect, it is clear that West Pakistani action preceded Indian action.
An Irony of fate is that all the key players of this war, Mujibur Rahaman,Indira Gandhi and Bhutto are killed.
Pakistan Military was behind all this, and their policies of governing visibly or invisibly

Just watching your video on YT & scrolled down here's arrived a new one,
The theory of someone criticising imran khan is deep down a noon leagui is definitely proving. No matter how much intellect they try to portray.
@24:54
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was justified in criticizing Biharis because they dominated the provincial establishment and marginalized Bengali youth from government jobs.
Vote for Muzammil's book shelf tour
very well prepared and well presented the true facts behind such partition
Aaj jo pakistani aur bangla deshi muslim dharm ke nam pe ladai kar rahe hai vo originally hindu the aur mugal aur muslim akarata ke vakt convert hoke muslim bane.
Dubai sir saudi ke sivay sabhi muslim countries me ladai chal rahi hai. Sanatan dharm me hi shanti hai. Sanatani ne kabhi dusre desh pe kabja nahi kiya nahi kisi ko jabardasti convert kiya.
Muzammil bhai video nai chal rhi ap ki ye wali
Sir, this is my 2nd comment, please do your research and present the true story about a colonel who was posted to safeguard the trains coming from India in 1947 but miserably failed to perform due to some un-published reasons and then Quaid-e-Azam show caused that colonel to explain his such failure which he again failed to explain. Then Quaid-e-Azam shouted at him saying *get loss* but Quaid-e-Azam had to pay the big price because then colonel Mr. Ayub ruled the country...
Sir you are keenly requested to bring this story in your lovely style of presentation.
I don't understand how he is trying to portray IK as Butto but not Mujib. On top of it NS was the saviour of Pak. Is this a joke.
One thing we can definitely see in his videos is his hate of IK, be it any topic, he would drag IK into it or at least pass a vile comment.
Not defending bhutto but mujeeb only had its compasion for bangal. He had no (positive) policies and plans for the western part. Putting current day pakistan in a state of annihilation and further suppression. A true bangali leader became the founder of Bangladesh.
It's not only about our Modi , it is the top 5 layers or pillars of the govt ..
Respected muzamil SB
In 1947 the birth of new state Pakistan was not responsible of 1971fall of dahaka it was the geography that forgate the point of rationality in 1947 it was the unique state of geographical error
You always been point blank in ur deliberations dear.. 👍
