I'm looking to have my PC turn on automatically from a complete power down. I'm trying to automate a few outlets to turn on & of certain things so they can power on automatically when I get home & power down automatically when I go to bed. Is this possible? I can rig the smart outlets to timers easy enough but have no idea how to do this for a PC(not wake from hibernate but power down completely and turn back on when it detects power from the outlet) I want to do it this way to make a cool automated smart house setup and to help save energy.
Hi, I mentioned system auto power on a fixed time, your concerns are different. You want systems power on any time when electricity comes... Right? I think you should search for any hardware support device which is connected to the mother board and manage the power trigger.

My BIOS doesn't have any of these options. It has already the latest version of BIOS for my laptop. But I can't see any option like that, can someone help me?
Did you ever figure out a different solution to getting your comp to turn on automatically? I think I am in the same boat as you are from the sounds of it where my bios doesn’t have this option

Time set depend on you, when you want to auto power on. I chose 10 am , becoz it's office working time

Look,, there is two type of clock - 12 hrs and 24 hrs . If you have not find am or pm them definitely you hv 24 hrs clock
