- Audio enhanced by raising the recorded volume a little bit. I sure would like to brighten the video some. It is too dark. Oh Well...
This video was recorded about 1980 and taken from an old VHS tape. The song, "Desire" is from the bands "No Ballads" album, released in late 1979.
A compilation CD of "Turn Up The Radio" and "No Ballads" was released in 2009 by Renaissance Records. Видеоклипы
One of the greatest Bands to come out of Detroit, should have been way bigger than they were!!!!! Rock n Roll at its best.
They would have been bigger if Gilbert could have stayed CLEAN!
@@455Transam Ok we get it dude. It happens
I remember hitting all the clubs back in the 80s just to hang with those guys. Detroit ROCK and ROLL at it's finest.
An very talented underestimated band
Not underestimated, Gilbert just couldn't stay clean and sober, THATS why they broke up
Proud to have grown up on Rocket Roll
Love the guitar driven rock and roll with a lead singer that can be understood. Not angry rock with marginal musicians and unintelligible lyrics. Am I describing music today? Certain music will remain forever. Beethoven's 7th for instance - 3rd and 4th movement have this type of energy. Excellent tune with great audio. Thanks.
These guys rocked and so did our Youngstown Ohio band "Left End". Both great bands that never did but should have reached national success.
love that detroit raw rock!!
detroit fucking rock city...that's how we roll here. \m/
Used to anyway.
Dave was just a "cut up" he just wanted to have fun and be a joker......i am so glad i got to meet him in the late 80's
One of the best Detroit bands of its day! So much potential, too bad Dave Gilbert was the way he was.
Detroit Rock and Roll!
los rockets toda una leyenda...saludos desde Monterrey Mexico...perdido para siempre!
I've been looking for this song for YEARS; thx for sharing - it ROCKS>
Saw the guitar player in Flat Rock at Michaels on the River... Blues band... I had the Rockets Live on LP... would love to get ahold of that on CD...
Killer!!
Thanks.
Great, great stuff! Nice job on the audio enhancement bluedanbass.
FUCKIN' COOL!!!!!!!
yo, dhorner64. if you saw the guitar player in Flat Rock then you saw that bass player, too. They both were in that band as well as the Rockets.
bluedanbass who’s the guitarist in the suspenders?
Give me that VHS tape and I will turn it into HD and HIFI. I bought 2 JVC S-VHS VCRs
and they rock old VHS tapes regardless of tape speed.
If you like bad-ass rock 'n roll, there is no place like Detroit. We make 99% of the others like like pansies. When I was growing up, the "Summer of Love" skipped us and our rock-metal-punk did and still reflects that fact.
You nailed it. Did catch the vibes Detoit did..but segued into fuck that..lets kick out the jams.
