I’m 68 and I love half magic and about face! Both very innovative. I have the single eyeshadow and it’s very pigmented! The only thing I don’t like is the styrofoam packaging. I find it incredibly flimsy and feel it will only last for a couple of months before it’s destroyed trying to open!
The rest of the product packaging is fine. Maybe you could combine the after hours and half magic in a video. Can’t wait for you to do an entire eye look with the color in the pot!
Pleeeeease try that eyeliner again over regular shadow!!! I need to know!!! I feel like it would be great for people w/ shaky hands like me to use it to apply along the lash line in a stamp like motion!
Girl I just ordered the blush and eyepaints you used on the video from half magic! I can’t wait, I had to pause the video and order, I haven’t done that since 2018! 😂 everything went on so easy and looked like it gave you the style of makeup on the show! (Which… I think the real genius behind Euphoria is just the makeup artist and the A24 filming crew,the show itself is just SO weird!)

That lancome foundation is comparable to estee lauder double wear. Good for some skin types but not for the dry folks, especially if the skin isnt prepped for it!
You may like it if you try it again with that in mind.
I know you're out of your comfort zone but talk about Festival chic! You picked the right time of year to do such a happy party look my daughters love to do make up like this! I love the bronzer on you-its really beautiful.
This look is actually just super super gorg with your colouring!! I feel the looks fits you beautifully. Also, as far as the Teinte Idole, definitely moisturize thoroughly and use a hydrating primer for it. Once you do, it is actually really lovely. I do tend to apply it with a brush and then take a beauty blender that has a bit of time to dry a bit more over it to press it in and it’s got a great finish.

I love fun looks like this! Half Magic seems like a cool brand and I def want to try at some point. Honestly I used to be just like you in the sense where I mostly did neutral looks, maybe a pop of purple or something here and there. But since discovering indie makeup and the magic of multichromes, I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different colors! Terra Moons has been my biggest weakness. And I love Blend Bunny for matte shadows! Earlier this month, I did a monochromatic rainbow makeup series and I was shocked to find I look amazing with a yellow or even blue blush haha.
I also have been loving iridescent highlighters!! I did a rainbow highlight moment and it was so cool and looked like a rainbow was being reflected off my cheekbones, then yesterday I used pink, purple and blue highlighters to go with my bi pride look and it was so pretty. So fun to experiment even if is out of our comfort zones! Ever since getting into more color, it’s more rare for me to do neutral looks and I’m loving it. The one habit I can’t break is the black winged liner but I don’t plan on stopping lol. Anyway I loved the look you created with those light purples and don’t say you’re not creative because you totally are ❤️

I have 2 of the Prime Lab primers. I just got the matte one and can’t wait to use it. I have the redness eraser and it works very well.
The matte shades come off really easy with balm or cold cream

I love the Lancôme foundation! I have combo skin and it last all day long! I’m the happiest 🎉 it is dry tho and oxides pretty harsh so keep it in mind but for me ITS PERFECT for summer 😊

I LOVE that foundation!!! I think you look dry before hand so you maybe need a good moisturaizer before applying that foundation. I'm 60 so imagine if it looks amazing on me with moisturaizer + spf. Not drying at all just smooth and even a bit radiant. I use it daily with brush and finish with sponge just to get rid of any line just in case. It lasts for more than 14 hours and doesn’t move, more important...I live in a 200% humid climate and these last month we had 90 to 100 degrees...so, maybe you need a better base? For primer I use Rare beauty or Hourglass Vanish. But yes, I work it in directly, not letting it sit, so applying each zone with the brush and working it in, as I do with every single foundation. That may help?

Morgan, I hope you don't mind me asking but ...... Could you PLEASE test any lip liners to check if they are actually long wearing? PLEASSSSEEE 🙏🏻🙏🏻. I'm fed up of buying lip liners that are basically a total waste of my money - they have zero staying power, so they disappear after a couple of "lip rubs" 😫.

I did notice towards the end of the video that the foundation did start looking better,it was a good call not powdering it,i think if u dnt powder it & u prep ur skin really well with a good moisturizer or moisturizing primer & wear it in the summer heat it may end up being a nice foundation 4 wher u live,it jus looks dry wen u 1st apply it but already i can c its improving..with me especially its not as important how my foundation looks the minute i put in on but how it wears throughout the day,who cares about the 1st 20 or 30 minutes wen im wearing my makeup 4 9hrs longevity is important bc i feel like most makeup looks good wen i 1st put it on,like my foundation & powder,my complexion makeup usually looks good 2 me wen i 1st put it on,the real test is how it wears,if i look in the mirror an hr or 2 after i put it in & its starting 2 look dry thats a bad sign & then again 4 or 5hrs in & its breaking up drying out, changing colors,all that stuf is wat bothers me the most how it wears is #1 2me, so maybe that lancome foundation wil b a good foundation 4 the summer if u prep well & dnt powder it..keep us posted

I hate that Lancôme foundation too but I love Half Magic products.
I find the Lancome foundation takes extra Work to apply, but once it's on it LASTS! It also melts with my oils (combo skin) over the day and loses that intial dry look. I wouldn't use it for every day. But for long days or special events it's my go to.
It wouldv done the half magic makeup alittle bit more justice if u tried it with a tried & true foundation bc that foundation is so matte & dry looking its hard 2 get the best look if the other makeup with it

Interesting insight it’s quite common. However, nothing in euphoria is new. I worked at clubs for years been seeing it for decades.
So then someone comes along and you’ve been seeing it in the makeup and costume community too. I don’t know why people all of a sudden, pretending pretending that they haven’t been seeing that type of make up the show comes out makes it popular and then claims it. How does that work.
The dryness could be the primer. When I use the redness one it was so drying.

Oh no, you can’t use that foundation on dry skin, maybe try the Renergie lift or the care and glow formulas.
I can’t even wear foundation only concealer and CC cream.
The Christian Dior Glowy foundation is great. Bougie.
I basically pat on the PML foundation like it’s lotion w my fingers and tbh it’s got skincare ingredients in and a very subtle skinlike soft coverage

I'm so upset that they reformulated the Teint Idole foundation! It used to be a natural matte formula so it was so much more forgiving and honestly most people could wear it. They also cut down the shade range as well which was a huge disappointment. They're 095 was the closest foundation match I ever had. This is a major fail for Lancôme in my opinion. Your look came out beautiful as usual though!

You wondered why your voice skipped? English is not my native language but I am a vocal coach... It is because of the way you use your voice. Your natural voice is heard in your early video's. You gave yourself a sort of drop in your tone at the end of sentences. Your voice cracks a little bit when you drop your voice. Your vocal cords do not like that. Sorry difficult to explain. But if you compaire your first videos with now you might understand what I mean. Love your videos!
Sadly, even tragically, Lancome *DID* reformulate their once wonderful Teint Idole foundation. And now it's just utterly awful from everything that I have been hearing in the beauty space. Their old formula was super long-lasting, but never felt dry or applied patchy. Nor did it oxidize, either. For reference: I am 64 y.o. and have combination skin with a literal oil slick t-zone which gets a cystic acne zit on the regular, with a more "normal" outside the t-zone skin type. RIP Lancome Teint Idole... 🪦
On a way higher note, I am going to have to get some of the Half Magic products! Loving the blush and Glitter Puck!
