    Future contracts are being tested in F9 exams will there be more detailed lectures for them?

    • @opentuition
      @opentuition  11 месяцев назад +1

      Calculation questions on futures are specifically excluded from the syllabus for Paper FM. All that is needed on futures for Paper FM is covered in our free lectures. Calculation questions are not asked until Paper AFM and obviously we have detailed AFM lectures.

    is it just a coincidence that the the delivery dates for futures contracts are only during the months of the ACCA exams?

    • @opentuition
      @opentuition  2 года назад

      Yes it is a coincidence :-) The delivery dates for futures have always been the quarter days. The dates of the ACCA exams have changed over the years :-)

    SPOT rate should be written as EUR/USD 1.5526-1.5631. You have written it USD/EUR

    • @opentuition
      @opentuition  3 года назад

      No - it has been written correctly the lecture, is how it is given in the question in the notes, and is the way in which exchange rates are quoted in the exam (as explained in the earlier lectures on foreign exchange risk management). 1.5526 $'s are equal to 1 €
