I live in Houston, and I can only imagine how peaceful these small Texas towns are compared to city life. I would love to live in a small town one day.
I love the music in your videos and texts explaining things. Thanks. I was born and raised in Texas for a bit, and my family is still there. I used to work on a Chicken Farm when I was a kid. Maybe that's why I love chicken so much. LOL. My dad was a career Air Force guy and just turned 95. Great video! Thanks.
I have lived in Texas my whole life, not all places are like this. There are very much more populated places but there are a few towns that need some help.
It's sad to see that area like that. I live in Fresno California, and that kind of farmland would be utilized here. Big agricultural is everywhere around the San Joaquin Valley.
Thank you for SHOWING the town, unlike another couple who just shows what is directly in front of them 90% of the video. While watching them, I notice buildings and homes on right and left that should be of interest just driven past so fast with the only intent of getting to the next town to do the same time.😢shame on them. You did a great job showing the WHOLE town. Thank you again, Have a great day😊😊.
About to explode though. 1600 house development going in just east of there & Dorchester sits off the 289 corridor for the growth coming north out of the metroplex.
Are they dying slowly, or are they just changing? There are abandoned buildings and businesses but the land is still being farmed. It reminded me of Montana where the same changes have happened. Fewer people are needed for labor than before but the place is still valuable. People just have to travel farther for some services nowadays. I would worry about the distance to a hospital.

I was born in Sherman and lived with my grand parents in Leonard for years. Still got family all over Grayson county.

A truly peaceful town
No tumbleweeds here, just boring blackland prairie and hackberry trees. Awful country...I spent part of my childhood nearby.

Came here to say the same thing! If you haven’t bought there by now, you might have missed your chance at cheap acres.
