hearing some guys say that they started late is kinda giving me hopes im 18 ive been playing basketball all my life never did anything like mma or martial arts but since like that ufc 263 card i really started watching and i havent missed one event ive had an itch to at least try something because there is no mma gym in my country but still havent decided and if i start i want to compete but hearing guys like leon starting at 17, alex pereira starting at 21 and even cannonier started in his mid 20s gives me hope but i feel its to late to start

Bro 18 you are super young for this sport you have a lot of time to start, look Daniel cormier that started at 30 years old look at Randy couture who started at 34 years old and became heavyweight champion I don't know how many times I think if you are less than 28 years old and you have talent go for it. Talent is way more important than the time you spend training if you have talent you can train MMA for 1 year and kick ass already in amateur fights then keep training for every fight

@@CimonSowel1 That's the spirit why not at least try as long as you are able to do it then do it when you are 70 or 80 years old and you can't move then ok but till then there is no excuse, even Mike Tyson with almost 60 years old is banging fast as always is crazy and about to go and Ko the clown of Jake Paul soon

@vagd8908 if you can overcome the mental side and not listen to those who say you can't then it's an open game. I just love the progression and learning of it all i have bad days in the gym but also have good ones and I never overshoot my ability. It's a great focus and helped me get my shìt in order after a few bad years.

Leon is definitely my champ I just like how you can really go through his whole timeline of a fighter of a person of a champion you get to see exactly where this man was born where he was raised in the environment he was in and the way he perfectly executed his way out it’s perfect but i guess Marty from Nebraska is cool to lol fake ass storyline they made for that foo thank goodness he got ko lol

Only if you were a high level athlete in wrestling or judo or a martial arts prior would a transition at that age grant you success m
