The Police could've at least had more sympathy. Maybe to them they were just doing their Job and yeah they're only there to help but you don't know how terrible something like that feels as in being the victim in the situation until it actually happens to you. At the end of the day they're the not the ones who are going to have to spend the rest of their lives without the only one who they really wanted to be with for literally all that time.
