      Gaethje is orthodox, so his leg kicks aren’t gonna be in an optimal position same way poirier’s were as connor’s a southpaw. Mcgregor will probably learn from his mistakes and be lighter on his feet from here on also. But ofc if he’s not careful leg kicks from someone like gaethje will def take a toll on him

      Think he's talking about walking weight not weight cut weight. Most lightweights walk near 180 - 185. Khabib walks at 183. So he meant people his and Khabib's size. Still a big compliment - basically saying Khabib's the lightweight GOAT.

      Short notice fights are very high risk, you could step in and lose in a bad fashion that would set you back really bad (Like Tony and Jojo) or you can win the fight and you will get fan recognition and aprreaciation also Dana can do you a favor aswell like putting you in a main event spot for your next fight or give you a pay rise.

      Usman walks around over 200lbs. Usman couldn't simulate what could be done in the cage by khabib they are different styles, but I know where I would put my money in a fight for sure..

      Yea dudes like hooker have to be there until mid February! Because of quarantine rules. And dustin said "They should call it hotel island bc you cant go anywhere on the island" they're stuck in a room for weeks before a fight. Even training in their room. Its horrible.       Actually, he's stated that he saw the tap, but wasn't 100% sure it was a tap. As it wasn't limb manipulation the only danger of getting it wrong was the guy going out for a few seconds.
      In that moment he decided he would prefer that outcome to accidently misreading a move as a tap, costing a guy his title shot. Great refereeing in a sport that knocks refs constantly.

      @@bigjoncash4297 well he already beat Tony so that’s 1 of the top 5. I think he beats Conor, out grapples him and submits him pretty easily, unless he gets caught early Charles can definitely beat Conor. Michael Chandler is a tough match up as I think Chandler can stuff his takedowns and has much more explosive striker, I’d pick Chandler to beat Charles to be honest. He can definitely takedown and out grapple Gaethje, Justin’s leg kicks aren’t a threat as Charles loves to catch kicks and counter, he beats Justin by submission. Poirier is another tough match up because of his great defensive wrestling, I think Poirier would be a close fight, probably go to a decision.

But Oliveira dominated him with 3 weeks of preparation, he had great game plan too. I’ll accept that Tony isn’t in his prime anymore, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Oliveira is one of the top lightweights right now

    Great interview. Always love how down to Earth Justin is, and how he doesn't avoid answering ANY question. Gaethje vs Oliveira or Gaethje vs Chandler makes the most sense. Either fight will be great, but don't think UFC will give him Conor because Conor has been ducking Gaethje all along.
