Truly a very real and humble dude. I've been a massive fan of Justin Gaethje from the beginning, man brings whoever he fights with to war even if he loses.
He's not humble in the slightest. I swear people just love to toss around that word because they know it means something good, but they have no clue what it means.
Justin hit the nail on the head describing the feeling that reverberates around the world in that moment. I was literally running up & down my driveway screaming in GLEE at the top of my lungs!! Best feeling EVER! I can’t even imagine what it feels like for him in that moment…when as just a fan it’s an absolute THRILL!!!!
So sick to see Justin’s career growth and development. Especially, if you go back and listen to the lead up, to the James Vick fight. Vick’s trash talk, despite not backing it up, was pretty spot on, as it related to Justin’s‘s approach to fights, at that time. I think Trevor and his team, deserve a ton of credit, along with Justin’s maturity.
Brett is the type of dude to slip and get a scratch on his finger at the skate park with his dudes, and repeatedly hysterically yell "FARK IM BLEEDING BRO!! IM FRICKIN BLEEDING BRO WHAT THE FARK DUDE!!! AaAaRgH WHAT THE FARK!!"
Great interview from Justin. I liked Brett's questions, he and Justin obviously have a developed rapport and the interview was very conversational as a result.
this fight was so much more technical than the first fight, I knew Justin would beat him because he improved more but Dustin's still a G and on the same level as Justin
Justin was getting beat up before that kick landed so idk what you're talking about. Dustin beats him 9/10 times, no chance Justin lands another headkick
He is my favorite fighter, and that moment was the greatest moment of my fandom since I was allowed to rent UFC 1 at Blockbuster in the 90's. Gaethje vs Ferguson is still my favorite fight, but now he is the BMF and so happy for him and his Family. Dude put in a lot of work to get where he is at and deserves every bit of success he experiences. Electric moment and I lost my voice for 24 hours.
You’re a sick man 😂 that fight wasn’t even competitive it was a man with CTE getting smashed about an octagon for 20 minutes. That fight ended Tony’s career and potentially took so many years off his life 😂
@@johnboggs1080 I think all fight fans are at list a tiny bit sick to a certain degrees, but I understand where you're coming from. I loved that fight because it's when Justin really started to make adjustments where the mind caught up with the body and he listed to what Trevor was saying. Remember there was still danger posed with the almost knockdown at the end of round one. Also, going into the fight Tony was revered as Khabib's equal by many and the next best fighter to Khabib whereas Justin was still a couple notches below. He went into that fight ready to face that challenge. What transpired was exactly what you described but we didn't know that going in. Before We start talking about Gaethje getting a third title shot lets see him fighting a good grapplers like Dariush, Gamrot or Arman to asset how good his grappling has got and not sent him to the slaughter
He must have thrown that head kick extremely hard. Dustin blocked it but it still Knocked him out. Technical Justin is dangerous for anyone. He beats Charles if they fight again.
" Win or lose Max Effort is what u will get out of me every time " - Gaethje. We knew this long before he said it. I'm a Dustin fan too, but will always back Justin first. Both are BMF material anyway imo.
