In a few of the comments, some express the idea that the Arctic and Antarctic regions don’t receive enough sunlight to melt ice. I guess they’ve not heard the expression “Land(s) of the Midnight Sun”. Regardless, the ice is melting in summer, refreezing in winter, etc.- the problem is that the sea ice decrease is greater than the ice increase.
not possible on the ball model. stop believing what you're told. This video is a load of SHITE. This is a very solid piece of info that actually debunks the ball model. Check out Arctic midnight sun videos. Many of them. Visualize or draw the ball model with tilt and with the sun. Put an x at 4 points on the earth in the arctic area, imagine each x is a man watching the sun. The x's should be placed top left, lower left, lower right, top right (in the area receiving 24hr sun. Now visualize which way this man is looking in order to watch the sun as the earth "spins" for one day. X on top left: Man is looking to his right X on lower left: Man is looking a little less, but still to his right. -He swoops around right looking directly forward to see the sun, then swoops most right to next position: X on lower right: Man is now looking leftward to see the sun X on top right: Man is now looking more left. In ball model Man is always turning his head right, forward, then left, forward, then right, forward, then left, forward, the right. Now watch the videos I said to look up. Watch what we observe in the arctic. We view a camera man planting his camera somewhere in the northern region, then observing the sun for 24 hours. The camera man Always turns to the RIGHT to keep the sun in view. But wait! That can't be! That's not what we would do on the ball model. On the ball model we would be looking right, right, straight, left, left, straight, right, right, straight etc (in other words the sun would zig zag in the sky during that time period and from that region on the ball model.) Think on it. And TRY to Apply what we see in real life to the ball model. TRY to ONLY turn the camera to the Right to keep the sun in view.... Keep trying... Keep trying.. It can't be done.
@@dan1497 This comment is 5 months old now, so I'm wondering if you've actually tried your experiment since then? If you had then I guess that you found out that it doesn't work like you'd though, right? 6 months of direct sunlight on the poles for 6 months each works perfectly well on the globe model. It clearly can't work on a flat earth of any description, therefore the earth can't be flat, simple.
I just recently watched a show talking about how we're flying through space at these astonishing speeds yet we here on earth don't feel like we are moving at all. He then get in the back of a car and reach a speed of 65mph he now pours some water in a cup and explains the water isn't spilling out, it made sense But I had to realize he was in a car with a windshield and all windows up he truly wasnt feeling the force of the speed cause he was enclosed so if we as a planet zooming through space we must be enclosed also just a lil food for thought
The Sun can be anywhere above the area between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, depending on the time of year. It is not always vertically above the Equator!!!
got your Flashlight and you need to take a step back with your flashlight and you can get the 24 hours of daylight of Antarctica 🇦🇶 on your globe 🌎 earth then you demonstration will work stop 🛑 shining your light so close to the globe LOL 😂
Do you know what a period is and what it is used for in writing English? It doesn't appear that you do. I guess you didn't really do your "research", did you?
@@kriskeeling6243 : Wow. You managed to not put a period in the wrong place. However, you took the coward's way out by ignoring them all together. And still no "research"? That's poor form from a flatter.
The globe has latitudes wrong by 10%. Greenland is too far north & Antarctica's too small. Lately I've been thinking that light is probably only 8 km/s speed, so that the Earth looks perfectly flat in all directions due to its curvature. But that speed could be double. Lightning would break light speed, at 60 km/s. I know radio is wayyy faster, etc, but it's a complicated topic.
I beg other RUclipsrs to delete their videos related to this topic. Just wasting our time. This video is clear and provides precise info
Thank you..... You made me understand this very easily
If u stay exactly on top of axe of the pole ur latitube will be fixed and that means the sun would not go up and down but does in a flat earth

Space is frictionless. Here on earth we have an atmosphere trapping gasses that will cause friction.
this video cleared a lot of doubts of mine thank you
It’s help me to do my work
00:43 you removed the Sun off of the equator. The Sun is supposed to stay on the ecliptic??

Thank you for the help
