@@Abiding.Farmhouse I have seen this once before (7 girls) And they had some theories about why. The father had been in a profession where he worked around radiation. They were looking for cracks in pipes and took pictures somehow with radiation I guess, not sure. Many of his colleagues also had only girls and particularly large families with only girls (he was morman, and lived in UT where large families are common.) One of my other friends had confirmed this as he worked on a nuclear submarine in the navy and in that job also there was an overwhelming majority of families with only girls and a notable number of large families of all girls too. I looked it up and it seems to be a confirmed phenomenon. Also for some reason professional rowers also tend to prodeuce a lot more girls apparently according to the internet LOL.

Congratulations, Shasta, Josh, and girls! Such a unique blessing to raise so many Godly women. I meant to share this back when you first shared about your secondary infertility. I am 2 1/2 years into secondary infertility after 7 blessings. It is a long story, but I am praying that God will bless us with another. I believe I am about your age and my youngest in 3 1/2. I wasn't expecting an abrupt end, and I am praying this isn't really it.

I don't have nearly as many kids but I think I can relate. I have all boys and I was the only girl in a large family. As I tell my sons, I always wanted a daughter but I also wanted sons. No part of me wishes they were anyone other than who they are but I'd be overjoyed to have a girl in addition to my wonderful boys. It doesn't seem likely that it'll ever happen for me but if it doesn't I am ok with that because I'm truly blessed to have these boys and I want God to be glorified in what I do have rather than blaspheming Him for not giving me more. He knows what I can handle and I'll tell you raising a girl would probably feel so foreign to me since I'm used to boys.

Congratulations!!! Praying for peace and not fear as you continue to progress. I had three babies after 2 losses and it was a bit tough with my first post loss baby to continually set my mind on things above and to be thankful to the Lord for all the blessings and challenges of pregnancy.

I went to school with a family who had 10 girls, no boys. They were awesome! The dad owned a crop dusting business. As ea girl became 16 they were in the fields waving the flags for the pilots.I'm one of 4 sisters and we loved growing up together. No brothers but we liked it that way. Congrats!
