Been doing alittle bit of research as I am starting my mobile detail business up this spring, if anyone is going gravity fed like I am to start make sure to elevate your water tank alittle higher than the pressure washer so that it feeds alittle bit better!
Thank you. Yesterday I went to homedopt to buy all this and they couldn’t help me. I’m going back today after watching this video and I won’t need their help . Thanks again
I did gravity fed when I first started. I went through 3 electric pressure washers within a couple of months. When I added a water pump I haven’t had any more problems when my pressure washer. And my water pump turns on when I pull the trigger and turns off when I release it’s not constantly going like the harbor freight one. I had that also. 😂 everything is a learning process. Good video.
@@nelsoncasas6551 it pumps the water into the pressure washer, without it the pressure washer will stress out trying to pump water that isn't available so it will burn out by over working itself
Esto video si esta buenisimo siempre kise ver como se asia esto.this is a good video always wanted to see how this is done and how this works thank you for taking the time to teach us all
Are the two fittings you used to connect the hose the same? I see you attached links to two different fittings but in the video it looks like you used the same two fittings to connect hose from ball valve to pressure washer
amazing video man. Ive been searching for hours to find the best inspiration for a tank set up. Your video is gonna be the one that i go with!!! how much did you pay for your tank??
For this setup did you do a bypass hose? I’m doing this setup and a buddy said I had to have one or I’d burn up the pressure washer? Never heard of that. Great video by the way!
Or.. or.. you can just buy the Ryobi 40V 1500 PSI Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer. Sure, you'll spend more and lose psi but it comes with a siphon function. No gravity feed trickery required
For this gravity feed set up how high would u say the water tank is good enough? Like that have u have it on pick up truck ?an do u have top lid open from tank when operating the pressure washer?
So you I would put my tank about 3inches higher on my bed . Would I have to level my pressure washer as well?? Same level or would it still be okay if I just lay pressure on bed normal ?
Very simple straight to the point set up thank you! My only question is can these connections be set up on any water tank similar like a 33-35 gallon tank? Is the port size kinda universal?
@@cardin837 I got mine too work finally I just put Teflon tape on the every piece of thread and made sure the back was tightly closed and it stopped leaking

Great review my guy!! I've looked a lots of videos and no one goes this in depth with the setup process. Bravo

Can add a tire valve at top of tank then pressurize it with a tire inflator after filling for better flow

What adopter are you using too adopt the bar hose on back of the ryobi pressure washer? Mine seems to be leaking when I try to gravity feed.
where did you get the hose my bro i thin your video definitely helps 🔥🔥
The hose is from Home Depot
@@mercurydetailingwhat size hose
With that setup, you could use a small sump pump (less than 2500 gph) and that would supply more than enough water to your PR. Invest
How do I find a pump
Great video 🙌🏾
I can’t find the link to your description on parts used
I recommend pipe dope over Teflon
where did you get the water tank? I keep trying to find one with no luck yet.

Hey man, just a heads up that ball valve you have linked is not threaded.
How do you prime the electric pressure washer and hose with this set up?
Good set up . What size hose you use that clear one ?
I believe it is a half inch or 3/4

I was just a little confused. I know some guys say mention being level but not sure what they mean
What happens when your not pressing the trigger ?? Where does the water go ? Would I need a second hose going back to water tank ?
When the trigger isn't pulled water will not come out.
Great video where did you get the water tank from?
Of a website that sells water tanks I don't recommend as they are very expensive
Mines leaking so much from the hose any help
will this work with a 3300 ryobi ?
God bless you thank you
What’s the hose size?
the laugh after you say nipples every time😂
Good idea dude! How long before that tank depletes?
I get around 2-4 car washes, it varies on the vehicle size😊
Where did you get that size tank
Very simple straight to the point set up thank you! My only question is can these connections be set up on any water tank similar like a 33-35 gallon tank? Is the port size kinda universal?
Any water tank source will work as long as you can apply the bulkhead fitting
The Nissan tho 😍😍😍
when you are away from the house, what type of "generator" do you use please?
I use a Honda eu is 3000 inverter generator. It has worked amazing no issues what so ever.
How much was the tank ?
can i get link to that tank please and the size
How do you go about priming it if you can’t get any pressure from air bubbles ? What’s your steps
I open the valve and let water through the hose and then connect it to the pressure washer!
Good info thanks
Doesn’t that mess up the pump on the machine. Is a transfer pump better?
Yes over time it is a good idea to invest into a water pump leading to the pressure washer
Is this still holding up or did it burn out the ryobi without having a pump ?
I added a pump later on for more pressure power but it held for a good while
@@mercurydetailing thanks for responding what pump did u go with

It’s called a bulkhead bro
Hi there quick question
What size is the hose ?
3/4in
Is this set up still going good without the pump??
Yes still going good but I'm adding a pump to get more pressure
@@mercurydetailing would you upload a set up with a pump?
you leave ur tank or u take it off after use ?
i leave it in. but if i need the truck for something else i take it out, its really light

same. I have this extact setup and it leaks from the back. Not sure why

Where do you fill up your water for your tank
my house i have water deionizer
How much hose length should you give the hose??
How ever long it need to get to your pressure washer. Mine is about 1ft
What do you use to keep the tank in place
some ratchet straps!
Anyone who can explain why the 3/4 nipple leaks through the water hose connection on the back of the Ryobi pressure washer?
Make sure the rubber seal is seated properly.
What tank is that?
Did anyone deal with surging problems?iHave green works similar to his Ryobi but it surges ALOT! Tips anyone?

It’s gravity fed
Is the 5/8 barb the same as the 3/4 inch barb insert ?
Yes just make sure the threading matches what your attaching it to
Where’d you get the buffer tank. ?
You can get them off Home Depot’s website!
no leaks???
What size tank do you have?
75 Gallon!
What size flex hose did you use
I believe 3/4ths or 1/2

Noticed this video is two months old now. Any problems since then? Still running perfect?
Still running amazing without a electric pump 🎉
Do you need a water pump?
