BBC Breakfast News would dump the computer generated studio design on Monday 2nd June 1997 when they moved into the Newsnight set in Studio TC7 at BBC TV Centre

@@mrhammadmossop1988ul-haq Yes, both Business Breakfast and Breakfast News were relaunched on Monday 2nd June 1997 as part of a revamp to bring more viewers to the programmes. GMTV had taken a large chunk away, and the BBC wanted to bring back a more welcoming and warmer yet still formal design, hence the relaunch.

2:00 - The Business Breakfast desk area actually faced opposite the main BBC news desk on Studio N2 here, a bit of a squeeze. This 5 min interval for regional news, helped the production team move the cameras into place for Breakfast News.
