Thank you for posting this video! I ran the course at 2:45pm and it was just completely mud the whole way through. The conditions deteriorated so significantly from when you ran it. This was my first event like this. I finished 1,943 of 8,303 (1:02) which given the lines at the obstacles was pretty good ;) I'll be running these with 1st start time from now on :)) You did so great.
Awesome vid! I had a question about gloves; did the help at all or were they more of a burden? I'm doing a spartan beast in two days and I have heard both opinions. Would you rock them if you did it again?

I'm glad it sounded the same when you went down the stairs as it did when I did...galloping! Nice job on your placement!
Awesome job man! I was in the 1:15 group and much like the rest of the people commenting it was a muddy hell. Looked like a completely new course!
Like Tonia, I ran later (2:30) & it was soooooo slick & muddy...but I now know to move up my start time!

i always wear gloves, just a personal preference. i don't wanna cut up my purdy little hands.
