I worked at Sally and they sold hair magazines that were about $9. After I left, my coworker said they throw them away at the end of the month. She always had a bag of magazines waiting for me as I was in beauty school at the time and needed them.
There’s one thing I learned from living right by a Big Lots. They aren’t allowed to sell any of the display items. So whenever a new line of something came out they’d just get told to put it out with the bulk trash. I found a Shark steam cleaner that was put out there when the ones with two sides came out. I also found a normally VERY expensive microwave that retailed for almost $200.
@myersplus5 all it is is preventative treatment for bedbugs. You can wash it out fairly easily. They use it for obvious reasons because bed bugs don't just get in fabric. They also like wood or any spot that is dark and humid.
I used to work customer service for a school supplies business and most of the time, we let people keep items instead of return them because it would cost us more to have them returned and restocked then the item was worth.
CVS does this in my neighborhood all the time. They threw out so much good stuff word got around and people actually wait around for them to do the garbage and then snatch the bags and run with them. Hello. I've seen online where you can order to a store so let's say you live in an unsafe area or you live in an apartment building and you don't want your packages stolen you can order to a specific store nearby so let's say there's a store nearby your job that will take orders and let you come and pick it up there you can go and have it shipped to the store and on your way home from work you can go in and pick up your package from that store. So what I think happens is the stores are supposed to hold your package for a certain amount of time and if you do not come in and get it within a certain amount of time they have to send your package back to wherever it came from but nobody wants to go through the hassle of sending it back so they will just throw it out and then possibly if it's something good we'll come back after they close the store at night like you guys are doing and come and take it because the product had already been paid for and you were supposed to come and get it but you never came and got it. So that's what I'm thinking as to why packages are being thrown away in dumpsters where the stores don't even exist somebody ordered it online shipped the store never picked up store threw it away. And yeah when you are over at CVS I think that's what happened the employees threw some stuff away for themselves wanted to go home change out of their uniforms come back and take the stuff but you got there because you were sitting there watching them before they were ever able to come back and grab their stuff that they threw away. Just like with the headphones I'm sure their kids wanted headphones or they needed headphones and those ones were tossed out so they probably saw that they were tossed out said let me come back and get them out of the dumpster later you took them and now they're gone. But yeah you can find some good stuff in the dumpster just like you guys do if you look hard enough but just be careful because sometimes say you are on security camera no trespassing. I found in my apartment complex a stereo system for the home in my dumpster I was going to leave it there and come back and get it and it was gone in a matter of hours so you need to really grab whatever you see quick otherwise it'll disappear.
I would probably report that cvs bag to the manager or cvs corporate. If a employee is stealing regularly that's a problem. Cvs may even give you a reward. I work for cvs, and if you report a coworker stealing, you can get like $250 reward from loss prevention
I'm really surprised. People always says high quality item is good. But, having it but not using & throw it, its another level. I use cheap, easy damage or torn items & throw away because I love to change what I wear or use. When they recycled it, its easy to process when it has no shape anymore.
Those weren’t bandaids they’re the ones that went in the foot box... they detoxify your feet supposedly lol. You stick them to your feet at night after a shower to detoxify.
Due to covid, return of many items ordered online, especially clothing, shoes and accessories, are not accepted because they cannot be sanitized. I ordered 2 pair of pants that didn't fit. I called to ask how to return them as Kohl's was shut down, I was told not to return them due to covid, just donate or toss but I would get credit. I donated. They are still not accepting returns so Kohl's was probably told to just discard them if brought in.
Love your videos Josh and Nicole! Those bags are cool from Amazon! They do sell international tastining boxes on Amazon as you can get food items from around the world. I love those Crayola packs you found! If I was woth you Id probably keep those for myself and the chocolate truffles look good although not sure of they were in date!
It was probably not worth the postage to return so they trashed may have sent the wrong thing, some companies will tell you to just keep it or donate to a local charity
My daughter use to subscribe to Universal Yums. It cost her $25 a month. She got a box of different snack items from different countries each month. My daughter said as far as she knew you had to order directly from Universal Yums unless that has changed in the last year and a half. Stay Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕
I had a subscription to Universal Yums also. It took forever to get here. They are in New Jersey and I live in Washington. I quit because it was starting to seem like I was getting nothing but chips. Once in a while, I still will go to their Yum Shop and order something.

Just call it Lube, we all know what its for. Great video you guys. Hope your getting along ok now Nicole x My theory..Amazon sometimes deliver direct from manufacturer if they were out of stock when it was ordered, they give the makers your address ect and they fax the paperwork over to be included in the box to be sent out.
I HONESTLY think the Amazon returns that are being dropped off aren't getting shipped back to Amazon. They (Amazon) have so many returns, so frequently, that they just instruct Kohl's to toss anything (for example, under $200-- I'm sure there's a price threshold where they DO actually ship it back to Amazon) immediately upon taking it back. Amazon honestly doesn't even want most of the returns. They throw a lot of it away themselves..
Personally I've found it easier to pick out glasses that actually look good on me on the websites. I just followed the directions to get a good straight on photo of my face. Then tried various ones on over time before picking what I like.
There were some disparaging remarks about ordering glasses online. I tried Zenni about 5 years ago and haven’t had any problems. Those haters probably work for an optician and want you to buy their overpriced glasses. I can get 3 or 4 pairs for what I would spend even at Walmart. If you buy them at the ophthalmologist’s you are guaranteed to spend $300 or more for a pair.

I'm really surprised. People always says high quality item is good. But, having it but not using & throw it, its another level. I use cheap, easy damage or torn items & throw away because I love to change what I wear or use. When they recycled it, its easy to process when it has no shape anymore.
Can you please give an update on Mr.Terry? Thank you & GBY Both 🙏🏼❤🙏🏼
Those weren’t bandaids they’re the ones that went in the foot box... they detoxify your feet supposedly lol. You stick them to your feet at night after a shower to detoxify.
Hi 👋 Stacy and Adam beautiful haul good choice, I hope you have a good sale in your auction greeting from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 guys.
Always fun to watch you, you find so many goodies
Nice love Dumpster diving 👍
Amazon instructs return points to automatically toss returns, for health and safety reasons. Regardless of reason for returns.
My daughter gets those from the company. You can get some international candy from Amazon.
Awesome score. You amazing couple love you guys. You guys rock take care. Be safe
13:50 = Amazon. 16:35 open the box 🎁
So I live right near an Amazon warehouse. I never been DD there before, I have always been nervous to go there but I might try it
DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. We have many of those in Chicago. It's popular fashion for the women.
They sell men’s shoes too.
@@asterix7842 I never knew that because I have never seen men with DSW bags.
Nice finds guys, those bags look like a shoe bag like Nicole said. Pretty cool finds though. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Pretty sure the tote bags are a free gift with purchase. DSW does that a lot and maybe cost more to ship back than they’re worth to the company.
I felt soo excited when I saw my country's snacks. 😍🇹🇷

Love your videos Josh and Nicole! Those bags are cool from Amazon! They do sell international tastining boxes on Amazon as you can get food items from around the world.
I love those Crayola packs you found! If I was woth you Id probably keep those for myself and the chocolate truffles look good although not sure of they were in date!
you guys know some times there may be a employee stashing stuff in there to have a friend or them self get it later it does happen god bless you guys
Wow! Great hall! Best of all the rest can be donated at a local food bank!
Awesome 💯🤩
You can get anything on Amazon and return them at kohl’s! Some kohl’s store’s are stopping that service! Just saying! 🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🙏🏻
It was probably not worth the postage to return so they trashed may have sent the wrong thing, some companies will tell you to just keep it or donate to a local charity
I found that same little hanger lol I kept it until I can figure out what it used for.
@@callmelyn73 my daughter also dropped her subscription when they started sending her repeat boxes from countries they had sent in previous months. If I remember correctly they started to repeat after a year of receiving the boxes. I lived in Washington state for 18 yrs, 17 yrs ago.
Don't know if your daughter's has tried Snack crate. My daughter is 17 and she subscribes to it. She wasn't big on the Universal yum box. She loves smack crate. I think hers is $26.99 . They have a higher box that comes with a drink. But hers comes with every month and it's been a variety of candy, chips, and nuts. Have a good day
@@tammyhyden6144 I did a pre-paid subscription with them, to save a little money, and I enjoy them so far. Another one to try is Munchpak. They do it a little different in that they don't pick one country for that months box but each month will have a selection from a few different countries.
@@callmelyn73 oh wow. I will definitely tell her. She works and orders these things. She loves trying all the different stuff. Plus most the time mom gets to help too. Lol She loved the China box. I think it was her favorite. I will definitely show her this other box. Thanks fir tells. Hope you continue to enjoy your snack boxes. Have a great night
Really nice bags! Great score! xo
My son has them from Amazon all over the world he love’s them x
I HONESTLY think the Amazon returns that are being dropped off aren't getting shipped back to Amazon. They (Amazon) have so many returns, so frequently, that they just instruct Kohl's to toss anything (for example, under $200-- I'm sure there's a price threshold where they DO actually ship it back to Amazon) immediately upon taking it back. Amazon honestly doesn't even want most of the returns. They throw a lot of it away themselves..
I don't recommend buying or selling any type of food items that come from a dumpster as im pretty sure its in there for a reason
If we did that here (Vancouver BC Canada) we would get charged with theft. Most retailers have compacters now too.
I believe those bandaid were detox things for your feet.
Those are all amazon returns from Kohl's, It's cheaper to just throw them away instead of mailing them back and reselling it.
