How about Excel-lite? It is a korean brand and all Kia cars come fitted with Excel-lite LEDs. Also will these the core of these bulbs will match the filament position of original halogen bulbs fitted by the OEM?
6000K won’t work in Rainy or Foggy conditions as the light can’t penetrate like 4300K does. 6000K bulb might look appealing to eyes, but 4300K is the best suited.
Good point. I am using 25w Osram since last year and I did not find much problem in rain for little fog. But I do find lesser Kelvin (yellowish) bulbs easier on eyes.
True darling but you can literally turn on fog lamps or use Stick on Rally yellow films on headlights temporarily for 4months of rain (if you drive long distance mostly)
There's another option.... Promoted by Tata motors, Blaupunkt V19 Pro 55W LEDs, The light colour temperature is 6000K but it seemed more bright compared to osram 50w 6000k in my nexon projector
Does the 50W Osram come for H19? Yesterday I went to get it installed here in Bangalore but they said that it doesn't come in H19 configuration, only H4. As H4 bulbs can't fit inside H19 so I was forced to choose Blaupunkt V19 Pro HP, which comes in H19.

Thanks for the review . By the way please do not fit LED bulb into reflectors. The result , especially in high beam is extremely annoying and dangerous for oncoming vehicles/drivers. The extremely high light scatter from an LED will create such a wall of glare that it would blind other drivers.
I don't think this is correct. If one follows the important points mentioned in this video itself while selecting the LED bulb, such scatter won't occur. Specifically, the position of the LED chip should match with the position of the filament in the bulb you're taking out. Then scatter will not be there.
Nightbreakers claim 200% more on the minimum legal requirement as per ECE rules, not over stock halogen. Which is why upgrading to Nightbreakers only gives a marginal improvement from stock lamps. I faced the same thing when I upgraded to NB, better than stock but grossly lacking for unlit conditions that we encounter in India.

Few points i would like to highlight, 1. The latest cars’ stock LEDs now a days coming with lumen sensing technology which automatically decreases the wavelength your lights whenever any vehicle approaches from the front side. 2. The stock LEDs can’t be replaced or modified until n unless some karol bagh genius invents such. 3. Max. lumens allowed in India is 16000, beyond that it’s illegal. Again this is reiterating the point no. 1 4. There are certain lights which are actually effective such as Lightforce Striker LEDs, but these are illegal in India as per MV Act. 5. Matrix LEDs from Audi are well upto the mark, but comes beyond the budget. Again these are not effective for Indian road conditions😓 6. Osram is undoubtedly the no. 1 automotive lighting solution, but still their products are not 100% effective under Indian road conditions.

After watching your video. I ordered 50W H11 4200k HB3 for My Ertiga High beam. But after running 10 minutes the driver/ blasters of the bulb are getting very hot. I can not hold them more then 5 seconds. Is it happening with you. Is it normal? Please share your observations.

This is the main reason I am ignoring leds, the housing is completely sealed and the heat will not have any place to excape....you know what can happen if u drive 3 4 hours in night.

@@ankitraj6969 brother, your concern is to the point, but the halogen bulbs create much more heat than LED, the headlight housing also gets hot due to halogen bulbs, I think that heat cause by LED'S won't cause any harm to the headlight housing.

BIG DISADVANTAGES OF LEDs 1. Reduced sight in foggy and raily days. (Because white scatters more than yellow) 2. Nexon housing for headlamps is fully sealed hence led heat dissipation is a big issue. 3. Fear of getting caught in RTOs which are strict and vigilant on after market led installations and u can't argue because the law specifics are not clear to everyone in every state.
All these points are negotiable, and moreover being able to drive safely at night is more important than considering all these points. Nexon's stock low beam is not good for night driving.
You should never use LEDs in REFLECTORs which are designed for HALOGENS, it will scatter the light and thus blinding oncoming drivers. Replace the reflector bowl entirely to upgrade to LED otherwise stick to HALOGEN ONLY and don't create any trouble to other drivers. It's my suggestion - take it or leave it.
On mud road led reflection will be bright , so plz once u drive on highway road bro... want to see brightness, led bulb brightness will be diminished in rainy road bcz it absorb the light... am I rt bro...

Nice Comparison brother. But mera ek question he: Mera Fluidic Verna 2012 ka model hai. Uska stock headlights abhi bhi chal rha he but brightness bohot low ho gya he. Mujhe LED lagwana he but uska connector type nahi pata, aap bata sakte ho kya. Would be very much helpful
My opinion is different specially in Nexon. I keep my headlight at Auto all time. My stock halogen bulb survived one a year. Whereas in wagon R it has been almost 5 years and stock bulbs are still alive.

6000k won't work in rainy weather. This is the reason why car makers only stick to around 4000k which has much better penetrating power.

Any modifications done to vehicle is illegal as per law. But I would suggest not to go beyond 55w led bulb in nexon.

You should never use LEDs in REFLECTORs which are designed for HALOGENS, it will scatter the light and thus blinding oncoming drivers. Replace the reflector bowl entirely to upgrade to LED otherwise stick to HALOGEN ONLY and don't create any trouble to other drivers. It's my suggestion - take it or leave it.

Colour temperature has nothing to do with power. Both are 50w means both have same power.

In this case if you switch on high beam, doesn't it mix yellow (high beam) and white ( low beam) ?, will look weird ?
Correct. Either replace both High + Low or choose 4200K colour temperature.

Mera Fluidic Verna 2012 ka model hai. Uska stock headlights abhi bhi chal rha he but brightness bohot low ho gya he. Mujhe LED lagwana he but uska connector type nahi pata, aap bata sakte ho kya.

@@KarDIY to be honest, stock halogens bulbs have the longest lifetime compared to leds.
My opinion is different specially in Nexon. I keep my headlight at Auto all time. My stock halogen bulb survived one a year.
Whereas in wagon R it has been almost 5 years and stock bulbs are still alive.
@@KarDIY in my i20 2011 model, I'm still using the stock halogens bulbs. However, the light throw is very poor during heavy rains in night time.
