Really interesting, would love to see some footage of how you're using it in some games! Also, love when you are doing these hardware reviews, so interesting, great production quality
That was a great video. The cyborg is very interesting. Looks like it could work for someone with somewhat different mobility in their hand too, maybe more comfortable
As an owner of Cyborg I'd say, it is so customizable that you don't need to worry about the dexterity of your limbs. IMHO, only two things can hold a person back: price and willingness to adopt/relearn.
Hmmm part of me really likes the idea of this but I think the people that would really benefit from this would probably has some issues changing the palm rests and messing with wires
As to desk space, it is actually the opposite. Cyborg takes less space than the smallest keyboard I've seen. You play with Cyborg and mouse so any tiny desk space is fine.
True, but I'd need someplace to *put* the Cyborg when I'm not playing. Or when I wanted to chat. These don't replace a keyboard, these are used in addition to a keyboard. I'd probably have to build some shelves to lift my speakers up to make room.
@@Storm-Cleaver yep, I see your point. I actually have two keyboards, two mice (one set for work, one for games) and Azeron. One thing you may consider is using a monitor stand that lifts monitor/monitors above the desk.
Love your previous vids. Would have loved to see footage and hear your thoughts about using this with Star Citizen. Otherwise, I don't consider this a full honest review.
I've not seen anything else like it, but I feel that I'd be hitting all the wrong keys accidentally, as I still do that with a keyboard, and I've been using one of those for 40 years.
it takes a bit of time to rebuild muscle memory and find the layout that's perfect for your hands. I play Fortnite on it, and I misclick once in 3 months or less. With a keyboard, I wasn't able to find a consistent layout of buttons for all the Fortnite BR needs.
I'm 48 and have been playing on K&M since the first games on floppy disks. Moved to Cyborg about 6 months ago as I couldn't find reliable keybinds for Fortnite BR. Can't imagine going back. However, if you are feeling smooth on your current setup, probably not worth changing as there is a bit of a learning and building new muscle memory phase.
Something that cost 20$ to manufacture for 200$+ lol. I played with a Razer Nostromo for almost 5 years, absolutly loved it. Was reasonable at 70$ but 200 is crazy.
To be honest i looked into making it myself at home because there is a plan for a 3d printer to do it but to order all the buttons and stuff is 90$ thru temu and the 3d print design is 45 and what the filament cost shockingly it cost almost the same to build as it is to buy it
You're not just paying for materials. You're paying for all the research and development that went into creating it... people can be so short sighted when it comes to cost, and the whole " I won't pay x because it only cost x to make" is very ignorant.
in the utopian world where people first played on Azeron devices for years, I can't imagine a single person wanting to move to K&M. It would seem like a ridiculous counter-intuitive alternative.
I have a similar product in the form of the razer tartarus v2 and I really have not felt a need to go back to my keyboard after even a day of training. I set the thumb stick to wasd and set my asd fingers to "crouch" "jump" and "dodge". Not only do I have access to all of those commands instantly now, I can also do things like quickly move in a circle around an enemy in say elden ring with little to no trouble. My thumb was already totally trained for that type of movement coming from controller. Seriously my only problem with these type of devices, is that so few companies make them.
QWERTY and flat keyboards are pretty counterintuitive if you stop to think for a second, they go against our anatomy and are the remnants of how typing machines used to work

Hey thanks my friend 🥳
I have been interested in this tool for a while.
This is awesome. Gaming to the next level!
Thank you 🥳
What a crazy idea!
Hopefully it‘s getting cheaper in the future.
yes, the handmade has its price 👌
That was a great video. The cyborg is very interesting. Looks like it could work for someone with somewhat different mobility in their hand too, maybe more comfortable
Yes, that is definitely a very exciting application 👌
This looks very interesting. I doubt I would have the finger/hand dexterity to put it to good use. Thank you for the review, Karolinger!

Thx for the Video
Nice, something new. It looks fragile but it can be interesting to control games with it.
Thanks for the review. I've thoght these have looked interesting. But I'd need a large desk.

the adjustment period is considerable but it offers some opportunities 👌
Interessantes, wenn auch sehr futuristisch aussehendes Ding, was dem ein oder anderen bestimmt eine Alternative zu einem Hotas System bietet

Yes, I often feel the same way 😄

Thanks for the Review Karolinger! Unfortunately this old Gamer is not as dexterous and is set in his ways. If only it was 30 years ago!
😄😄😄

The price is challenging, but the range of functions and customizability are unique 🤞

I didn't even know this type of peripheral existed, it seems rather counter-intuitive

Very interesting, but i don't need it. 🙃
it's something special 😁
Not for me. Enough brain capacity used learning the keybinds on my sticks. Lol
I know that well 😄
