We agree it is truly beautiful here ❤️ those are actually mesh cloth that we wrap around the banana bunches they keep the off and protect the bananas ❤️
i live on the mainland pt, have couple of these trees, temps here can go down 10 c sometimes freezing cold, but the trees keep on going and in the summer they produce alot, 10 papayas per tree, they are going on 3-4 euros kilo my papayas are big as hell, no special needs or anything. there in the azores they would be perfect with that soil, coffee grows well there too.@@newlifeazores1326

What is that blue thing in that banana tree, on the right? I saw as you followed Shawn to the next banana tree area.
It is most likely a tree tag of sorts we use the blue plastic ti mark the tree

We sell them to a company and they distribute them to the stores we also eat them give some away and make banana bread ❤️
