Amazing footage, inspired me to go climb more around England. what camera / lenses are you using to film with?
Thanks! This was shot with a mixture of a GH4 and GH5. Mainly with a sigma 18-35/tokina 11-16 and a speedbooster
Great video! what's the song that kicks in for the born lippy section of the video?
Thanks! The tracks called 'Silhouette' by AlterEgo

Cool
what's the name of the 1st song?
where is the crux of county ethics please? does it ease off higher up?
I'm not entirely sure, but the hard part is definitely quite high up. But the very top eases I think
yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Hi guys great film but use a rope protector so you don’t damage the rock when you filming and working problems otherwise sandstone venues like Northumberland will end up like the southern sandstone of Harrison’s, Bowles rocks and rock farm..... it’s just good practice. sorry to be a moan
No need to moan mate, I know the drill. I use a towel over edges when working stuff. If this in response to Sam being a couple of meters down from the top to film, there is no real need to use anything in that situation as the rope doesn't come into contact with the rock just the soil build up on top of the crag.
If we’re talking of the same point 2:20 at then top of county ethics at BB the ground and rock should still been protected, a car mat it perfect for protecting the rock/ soil and the rope and because you are put forward great films you need to be put a really high level protection you literally showing what is acceptable practice. Great films
@@benhope3367 as I previously stated the rope is not in contact with the rock so any sort of rope/rock protection would not be needed. If you've ever been on the top of BB you would notice that the way the ground slopes off towards the end of the crag means the rope does not really put any pressure on one particular area of soil so would need a floor mat from a limousine to cover all the area that the rope is in contact with and would in my eyes be impractical.
thease shows clrearly what a stetic climbing video looks like, and there is no need to have insanly hard boulders
