As an independent voter I am beholden to no party. I’ve voted both sides of the aisle. But when I listen to Republicans I feel sad, angry and confusion it’s just not inspiring at all. When I listen to Democrats speak I feel goosebumps, I feel electricity, I feel hope. One side is telling us what their plan is for America the other side is just throwing out insults. Also a lot more of the democrats that are running just feel more relatable. I believe this election will be the very first election that I vote democrat top to bottom on the ballot. A good majority of my family is Republican and from my conversations with them they will either not vote this election or they will vote Democrat for the first time because they don’t feel like the Republican Party represents them right now. Nevada still has malfunctioning ballot counting machines. They did absolutely nothing to improve the efficiency of those machines from 2020 to 2022.

As an independent voter I am beholden to no party. I’ve voted both sides of the aisle. But when I listen to Republicans I feel sad, angry and confusion it’s just not inspiring at all. When I listen to Democrats speak I feel goosebumps, I feel electricity, I feel hope. One side is telling us what their plan is for America the other side is just throwing out insults. Also a lot more of the democrats that are running just feel more relatable. I believe this election will be the very first election that I vote democrat top to bottom on the ballot. A good majority of my family is Republican and from my conversations with them they will either not vote this election or they will vote Democrat for the first time because they don’t feel like the Republican Party represents them right now. And I have a feeling my household or family is not alone in this type of thinking. I can tell you all the women in my family are voting for Harris Walz. Try to take away their rights and freedoms is a bad move in my family. Gob bless you all and god bless America 🇺🇸

I'd just add that you are lucky to see a very cohesive Democrat party after some years of progressives & centrists not always eye to eye, and my take is that its a complacent generation phasing out and an activist generation phasing in with ethnic and gender shifts. In part helped by many fine Republicans who want their party back. Say hi.

I wouldn't worry about Nevada. Polls _always_ underestimate democrats in that state. No one quite knows why. Even in 2016, polls showed HIlary losing Nevada.

Tester and Brown are proven winners in their respective states. I agree WV is gone. Montanans have been known to ticket split. There’s an interesting house race in western Montana. Dems lost by 3 in 2022. Bernie Moreno is a bad candidate in Ohio. I think the path through the senate runs straight through Montana. If I were Democrats I’d be working overtime in registering native Americans in Montana and getting out the vote in native country, liberal voters in Missoula, union voters in Anaconda, and swing voters in Helena and Billings.
