TIP** I have 2 kids and one of them is 18 months. So, I use wipes quite a bit lol, and use to have the same problem with more than one coming out. So, as time has went on, I have learned a trick to only getting one at a time, because most of the time I only have one hand. When you pull the wipe up out of the pack, and where the next wipe is connected, pull the wipe down (like you would tear off aluminum foil, cellophane wrap, etc), and it will only tear one wipe😃😃. Hope that helps someone.

Boots No 7 just recently collaborated with Walgreens, many Walgreens got a whole new make over. Just a heads up. The new changes have been amazing, every Walgreens here in Wisconsin has such a HUGE variety in make up. Love all the new brands like Soap & Glory that are now there too. :) love you Jessica and I hope you have a great holiday break.
Yes I'm from Green Bay and a few weeks ago I went into Walgreens and was really surprised that they had Boots and Soap & Glory and the whole store was made over. I must have been in there for over a hour looking at everything.

Your makeup looks extra beautiful today💟 I'm part Irish & have always been told that's the reason for the redness in my skin. No idea if that's true but most the women in my family are that way.
Very fair skin tends to be thinner and the capillaries are closer to the surface - hence the redness. It's also a little more transparent which shows redness more. The Irish/Scottish thing about red noses refers more to the stereotype of being big drinkers (as alcohol dilates blood vessels). I don't drink so I think it's just really pale skin. Best wishes.

One night at work, an older woman's skin was so dewy and pearlescent, and when I asked her what highlight she was wearing, she told me it was just the Lift and Illuminate foundation. I've been in love with it ever since!!! Also the airbrush away by No. 7 is meh. I dont like applying it with my fingers but its almost too thin for a beauty blender/stipple brush. Be interesting to know what you think!
You have to try the Up and Up brushes, especially the face brushes! The blush brush and the complexion brushes are awesome as well as the face brush kit! They truly are well made, affordable, and they hold up to cleanings! Also, the Sonia Kashuk lip products that come in the rectangular formate (can't remember the name are fantastic! They are so comfortable and are almost a cross between a gloss and a lipstick. Trust me here, go get one asap, especially in a nude shade!
I really enjoy your videos. You seem very down to earth and I really appreciate your honesty. You seem to really care about everything you do, whether teaching at school or here on You tube. I bet your students and parents adore you. You should vlog or video a day in your classroom. I also appreciate the fact that you have kept your teaching job. I love all the pacifica products so much. I love the mascara and noticed you didn't say anything about the the twist thing and was about to comment about it and then you were like "oh my God" and I was like, wait did she finally figure it out? 😝 also pacificas body butters are absolutely fantastic.
I have never tried any of Pacifica's makeup but I LOVE LOVE LOVE their skin care items, body lotions, butters, washes and sprays. The skin care stuff works amazingly well (at least for my dry, sensitive skin) and everything smells so so good. Tahitian Gardenia is my fav!
I looooooove the Pixi multibalm in the wild rose color (I have fair skin, pink undertones, and mauve lips so it's perfect on me). It doesn't show on my lips but it is my favorite blush!! I do need to put it on with a brush, as you said, to make it look good. I top it with the "blush" that's actually a highlight (I use Rose Quartz, which has a multichrome shift in the pink) and it's awesome! I just think of this as highlight so I don't add extra.
I know it has fragrance and that isn't good, but the Pixi Glow Tonic is great, I use it every night after cleansing. It isn't harsh, keeps my pores from congesting and my skin is very smooth. Glycolic acid seems to work the best for my skin, which is generally clear, and on the dry side. I use a 10% with hydroquinone on my hyper-pigmentation, but it's to strong for all over my face.
Alpha arbutin is a much milder ingredient than hydroquinone for fading pigmentation, so that might be worth a try. It is available in all price ranges from the budget ordinary skincare line to medical grade skincare (try premierlook.com for the medical grade obagi). Hope that helps.
I had that pixi bronzer from Ipsy a while back, and it got those bumps as well. I loved it, because it's so subtle, and worked for my pale skin. The color was subtly suntouched I believe.
I love my facial products from Pacifica. It's the coconut probiotic water rehab cream. They have great skin care!! I do love the Pixi tonic. But i hate spending the money on it because you don't get much. But you can use it for special occasions. I do want to say it is really nice!! The powder in that Sonia concealer palette is awesome.

That hidden agenda concealer palette has been my holy grail for years!! It's literally the only concealer I use and continue to repurchase. I apply it with my finger onto my zits only, never under eyes.

It's good to watch these types of videos so you can see what's worth buying and what's not. I appreciate your honesty on your channel. I heard good things about that glow tonic, I have tried 1 thing from the pixi line and that was their makeup mist. And that was ok, would prefer that over smash box primer water. Sonia's eye shadows look like a winner.
That Sonia Kashuk concealer palette is great for pinpoint concealing on blemishes. You have to use with a very small brush and tap with your finger, let it set and then lightly powder. It's amazing!

A cute example of a miss-heard word: we used to go rock hounding when my daughter was about 7 or 8, but she called it rock-pounding. We never corrected her because it was really cute. This year she turned 18 and just realized that it was rock HOUNDING, not pounding. Talk about mind blown. She questioned why we never corrected her. LOL
I adore the Sonia Kashuk cream lipsticks (nude shades). They aren't long lasting, but they feel so good and have a wonderful vanilla smell. No7 had my favorite lip gloss. They look very shimmery, but aren't when on the lips. You are the first person I've ever heard say something about mascaras needing air before they're at their best. I've always thought so!
I use the Pixi bronzer several times a week. It has the little bumps but it doesn't affect the product. I love it! Pacifica has nice fragrances, nail polish, and lipsticks. Sonia Kashuk has some amazing eye brushes as well.
If you are into peachy correctors the Pixi one is fabulous! Layered under concealer it's beautiful and brightening. The Pixi Glow Pads are a total winner too!!! They have a higher percentage of glycolic acid than the Glow Tonic, so they work deeper on the skin. They are like the Glow Tonic amplified twice.
There is a new brand will come in Target in 2017, a Korea brand named "Missha". I usually buy some beauty accessories because it's inexpensive and I can buy them in both China and America. I recommend the Air in Puff(perfect for applying liquid concealer and liquid foundation in a padding on way), egg-shaded puff, Silk-feel cotton puff, compact lip brush, eyebrow razor, perfect eyebrow styler(come with a triangular brow pencil and a spiral brush), I used buy them from their website in America(often have 40%off online), happy to find this brand in Target soon. By the way, they also have the Time Revolution essence toner as a dupe for SK-II's famous facial treatment essence, my friend said it's good but I haven't try it yet.
Oh my god you need to try the airbrush away foundation from No7. It is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I fell in love with it and now I only use it and no other foundations.
I absolutely love the Dream Big mascara from Pacifica when used with an eyelash/ mascara primer. It makes my lashes really full and long, and stays put all day.
I only recently discovered the Boots illuminate foundation, and now it's my new holy grail for daily, workday wear! It looks so smooth and nice all day, even 12 hours later, even in my 12x mirror! My skin is dry during winter months, and this foundation has been a godsend - wears so well over dry patches. And you know what prompted my to buy it? I swatched it in Walgreens and was impressed. I wear the shade "cool ivory." You are right about the light coverage - I layer it with a tiny amount of the wonderful new Physicians Formula Instaready concealer to cover redness.

I know you don't do tutorials much because you're not a makeup artist but I think this is literally the prettiest eye look I've ever seen. Could you do a quick tutorial or Instagram video on this look? I know you used the Kat Von D shade and light palette but I'd need to actually see what shades you used where to recreate it.
I absolutely love the pixi products I've tried (especially the setting spray, I think it's one of my favorites), but I do feel the brand in general is a bit pricey, which makes me want to shy away from it a bit. Your the first one I've really seen talk about the brand, though, so I was pretty excited to watch this video. And I am forever cramming wipes back into their package, so I feel ya.
My favorite mascara is the Pixi large lash mascara. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and this is the only mascara that doesn't bother my eyes. It also is the same formula as high end Chanel mascara. Love it!

PS: The bumps on the product sound like hardpan - which can be removed by dabbing tape on it. You can also scrape it off but tape wastes less.

It's good to watch these types of videos so you can see what's worth buying and what's not. I appreciate your honesty on your channel. I heard good things about that glow tonic, I have tried 1 thing from the pixi line and that was their makeup mist. And that was ok, would prefer that over smash box primer water. Sonia's eye shadows look like a winner.
That Sonia Kashuk concealer palette is great for pinpoint concealing on blemishes. You have to use with a very small brush and tap with your finger, let it set and then lightly powder. It's amazing!

A cute example of a miss-heard word: we used to go rock hounding when my daughter was about 7 or 8, but she called it rock-pounding. We never corrected her because it was really cute. This year she turned 18 and just realized that it was rock HOUNDING, not pounding. Talk about mind blown. She questioned why we never corrected her. LOL

I adore the Sonia Kashuk cream lipsticks (nude shades). They aren't long lasting, but they feel so good and have a wonderful vanilla smell. No7 had my favorite lip gloss. They look very shimmery, but aren't when on the lips. You are the first person I've ever heard say something about mascaras needing air before they're at their best. I've always thought so!
I use the Pixi bronzer several times a week. It has the little bumps but it doesn't affect the product. I love it! Pacifica has nice fragrances, nail polish, and lipsticks. Sonia Kashuk has some amazing eye brushes as well.

I love the glow tonic. I have been using it for about 2 months now and I have noticed brighter skin and all the benefits mentioned.
If you are into peachy correctors the Pixi one is fabulous! Layered under concealer it's beautiful and brightening. The Pixi Glow Pads are a total winner too!!! They have a higher percentage of glycolic acid than the Glow Tonic, so they work deeper on the skin. They are like the Glow Tonic amplified twice.
There is a new brand will come in Target in 2017, a Korea brand named "Missha". I usually buy some beauty accessories because it's inexpensive and I can buy them in both China and America. I recommend the Air in Puff(perfect for applying liquid concealer and liquid foundation in a padding on way), egg-shaded puff, Silk-feel cotton puff, compact lip brush, eyebrow razor, perfect eyebrow styler(come with a triangular brow pencil and a spiral brush), I used buy them from their website in America(often have 40%off online), happy to find this brand in Target soon. By the way, they also have the Time Revolution essence toner as a dupe for SK-II's famous facial treatment essence, my friend said it's good but I haven't try it yet.

Oh my god you need to try the airbrush away foundation from No7. It is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I fell in love with it and now I only use it and no other foundations.
I absolutely love the Dream Big mascara from Pacifica when used with an eyelash/ mascara primer. It makes my lashes really full and long, and stays put all day.
I only recently discovered the Boots illuminate foundation, and now it's my new holy grail for daily, workday wear! It looks so smooth and nice all day, even 12 hours later, even in my 12x mirror! My skin is dry during winter months, and this foundation has been a godsend - wears so well over dry patches. And you know what prompted my to buy it? I swatched it in Walgreens and was impressed. I wear the shade "cool ivory." You are right about the light coverage - I layer it with a tiny amount of the wonderful new Physicians Formula Instaready concealer to cover redness.

I'm 59 & wear the no 7 lift & luminate foundation. It by far is the best shade match I've ever found. Enjoy their lip sticks as well.

I absolutely love the pixi products I've tried (especially the setting spray, I think it's one of my favorites), but I do feel the brand in general is a bit pricey, which makes me want to shy away from it a bit. Your the first one I've really seen talk about the brand, though, so I was pretty excited to watch this video. And I am forever cramming wipes back into their package, so I feel ya.

My favorite mascara is the Pixi large lash mascara. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and this is the only mascara that doesn't bother my eyes. It also is the same formula as high end Chanel mascara. Love it!
