- Having a 40 year old car always requires attention, love and continuous improvement!! This is my Volkswagen Mk1 called Tweety, I got the car 10months ago and started to modify it, it is currently my daily driven and project car at the same time. In this video I am fitting more upgrades to the car which transforms the car more to my liking. I got a 93 cti. I got the original mushroom wheels and stock suspension. These cars are nice with old school look. Get a cti steering wheel, sound system and sound deadening so when they go up in value you still got OEM parts on it. Velo steering wheel sometimes look out of place in a old dash

Coilies jom blueline for 8years now no problems still drive like a dream 130km on the clock sunroof sound stack fitted stock standard everything else and than a set of lenso bsx 15s with 165 tyres but njoy the golf videos man cause as we know u can mever stop changing things ona mk1

The baby velos are a nice touch to the car, Car is looking amazing after the details, my honest opinion is rather stay static as dailying a car with air suspension could become a costly issue. I have a 1996 citi golf 1 chico currently rebuilding it and creating content on my youtube channel🙏🏽

Been waiting for an update on this ride.I think if you going to go velo steering then rather do an entire new spec dash but id personally keep it with that dash just change the steering wheel to either Aftermarket or CTI and definitely upgrade that cluster to one with a rev counter 💪🏽Im also busy with a Mk1 project. Then its for sale then its not lol being married and wanting a project car is not easy so i can relate.All the best bro 🙌🏽

I think I might keep the dash stock and only change the steering wheel to the Velo. I have been thinking about the cluster since my clock stopped working a few months ago. Yeah man wanting a Project car whilst married is like wanting to win the national lottery 🤣🤣🤣

Air suspension is very unreliable for long distance...I saw that on my friend's car...coilovers are better
I agree, no matter what air you running, they are not as reliable as Coilovers, I think it also depends on the purpose, I mean a stance/built car shouldn’t be having to be used for long distance driving
