The fact that they were able to successfully rework this classic into a 4 part harmony from 5 parts always amazes me. Well done!!!!!
the "when you reach the bottom..." part did hurt.
Boybands like O-Town, Backstreet boys, NSYNC, and the rest from that era harmonized to perfection.

I still can't believe Dan originally didn't make the final cut. Glad EM, Jake, Trevor and Ashley were able to tell Lou who they wanted to fill the void of Ikika.

Ikaika wasn't a great. He could painfully hit notes on baby I could but that was it. Dan has so many more layers to his voice.
hoenstly if Dan had replaced someone else aside from Ikaika or Erik, the band might have been even vocally stronger. But idk I thought Ikaika struggled with the dancing. So tough to say

Jenica Carpentier Eric is a hit and miss. Did you not hear their miss America performance. They we were off key, but Eric was off beat, off key, off everything. I know when people loved something or someone and can be basis, but he has even said a few times he is one of the weaker singers in the group.
Tamx Gold yeah, and that performance was part of an episode of Making The Band. They had so audio in the ear pieces so they were basically singing deaf. And it’s was actually their first huge performance so the episode went great because for the messed up lol

Yeah, I don't get it either. Ikaika had a high singing range but that was it. He was a terribly bland singer with the style he had and had no rhythm. If they never chose Ikaika, Dan should've been it. OR, from a vocal standpoint, if they chose Dan instead of Trevor, that's a better package. I think Dan also is the best because not only does he have the most consistent vocals, but the most unique singing tone.
their voices individually are pleasant but man, when they harmonize it's off somewhere. Dan has best voice imo. still got great memories growing up listening to these guys!

I am convinced that the only reason Dan didn't make the original cut is because Ikaika had that handsome Kevin (from thr Backstreet Boys) look that Lou was looking for in a boyband. And maybe Lou was trying to diversify by adding Trevor over him as well. (Dan kills his voice too). Dan is by far the best vocalist on the group. Jacob was always my fave though. He and Dan are my top 2.
