  • This week, I completely finish building the roll around body table, or body jig! It's done! It's painted! It'd ready to put to work! This is going to be a great addition to the shop, and a very useful piece of equipment for my current project, and other future Model A builds!
    Welcome to my Channel! I had another great week in the shop beating and banging on my Hemi powered Model A Special Coupe Traditional Hot Rod build.
    There's still plenty to do! Subscribe and click the notification bell so you don't miss a thing! Please leave a comment, and thanks for watching!!
    Coming up soon on this project... More trunk repair, chassis fabrication, finishing the rear subrails, fitting oversize door pins, rebuilding door latches, rust repair on the doors and quarter panels, and much more!
    Thanks for watching me bring this old 1928 Ford Model A Special Coupe back to life!
    Need my address? E-mail me, and I will send it to you so, that I don't have to make it public, Thanks!

    Great job Phil. Don’t worry about the people who don’t want to watch anymore. There will always be people who are looking for something to get upset about. Just be happy along with those of us that love watching your videos. I’d be willing to bet there are way more of us.

      Awesome! I'd love to inherit a model A coupe from long lost uncle or something. I'm learning as I go, so hopefully you can pick up a few things along the way, what to do, or even what not to do LOL. Thanks for watching!

    I like watching. You're doing what i would be doing if I had the means. There's nothing wrong with taking your time and doing a good job, the deck lid turned out great, plus you're learning new skills as you go along. I think you have a great channel, after you get a couple hundred thousand subscribers, things will be looking up.

    Good morning Phillip, well with everything that you have going on, I do appreciate you still having time to post a video for us. That body dolly sure turned out nice and the behind the scenes footage really shows how much work went into building it but like you said, you have a lot more projects that will make use of that jig. Thanks again for the video, have an awesome week Phillip! ☕️

    Ill tell ya somethin else....everyone can have all their opinions in the world. Guys like you and I are allowing folks a view into our lives. Its still your life, your shop, your build. Everyone can have all the opinions they want but they dont add up to a hill of beans! 😂😂😂

    • @phillipshotrodgarage
      @phillipshotrodgarage  Год назад +1

      Opinions don’t matter much if you aren’t out actually doing something. In drag racing they have what’s called keyboard racers. I guess YT has keyboard builders haha. Honestly though, I appreciate constructive criticism. When someone disagrees or posts up different ideas, it can be useful. It all depends on how they go about it. There’s not a single one of us who knows everything. We all can learn from each other. You know what I hate about making YT videos? It takes time away from me being able to watch everyone else 😂

      Same here. And the reason why we recorded on time lapse this week. Just set up the camera, and don’t talk, just work. Pick it up and move it to a different spot to change angles ever so often, and you got it whipped. I don’t know what you are recording with, but I’m still using my cell phone haha.

    The jig looks good! I dont understand comments like that i dont watch this stuff anymore because its not going to be blah blah. I think you are doing fine job, the pace of the build might be a slow for some guys, but that doesnt matter me . I know that most ppl have a day job, family etc. and everything doesnt happend like on some reality shows.
    Well, i have seen some stuff on youtube, that watching them is a complete waste of time. Your channel is a far away of that crapola. Keep it up!

    • @phillipshotrodgarage
      @phillipshotrodgarage  Год назад

      I think people get accustomed to watching these quick builds, and lose sight of reality. I see a lot on youtube that is junk when it's done. They build stuff just thrown together for views. I think what I am doing is normal for a home builder working man. It takes time, but that perception of time isn't always understood by people who have never built anything. It's easy to sit back and compare one guy to another, and think that one guy is doing better than the other, when you aren't doing anything at all. unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there like that. There's nothing wrong with doing nothing at all, just don't be too critical of those who are. A steady pace wins the race.

      @phillipshotrodgarage  Год назад +1

      It’s a lot of work for sure. I get some much from other RUclipsrs, I feel good about giving back to the community. When I got monetized I had to have 1000 subs and 4000 hrs watch time. I read that they lowered that to 500 subs??? If that’s the case you are getting close.

    I quit You Tube because my channel was always going to be commercial free. But You Tune decided to start putting commercials in my video's And didn't give me a choice or even offer to pay me for those commercials, and some of those commercials I did not agree with. So I removed my video's and sent You Tube a kiss my ass message.

    • @phillipshotrodgarage
      @phillipshotrodgarage  Год назад +1

      One thing I would like, is to have more control over the commercials. I’ve had some complaints about the ads on my channel, but they are beyond my control. I have no idea what youtube is putting up. With that said, RUclips is nothing more than a advertising platform. They allow you a place to stick your videos for free, in return for them placing ads on them. If RUclips did not make money in this way, there would be no RUclips. It is a business and they have to make money to stay in business. In return, they share a little of that revenue with us after we meet certain criteria. Some have become filthy rich making videos, and others just struggle along, and view it as the opportunity to share their content. It’s definitely not a perfect scenario and there’s a lot I don’t like about it for sure. A ad free channel should be a option for people, I agree.
