- This adventure is one for the books! We made these suspected cheaters run away from us in Sea of Thieves. We suspect they had some aimbot and esp going on but apparently their subscription hacks service wasn't good enough!

Had a dude nailing every ball on my character from a low wave, and when I’d hide, he’d nail my mast. I didn’t accuse cheat, I said amazing luck. He said “I am having amazing luck!” As he appears on my ship with a keg in the middle of a storm after his last cannon ball shot. Looking back at the video, you see him zooming! I get it don’t accuse, but it is what it is when you catch them!

This is what will finish the game for me. It was good while it lasted.
It’s nothing new. Most of its on pc servers. If your on Xbox and have it set to Xbox o my servers you won’t have a prob. Not saying it’s impossible for them to do it but it’s def much more difficult.
@@bengalbrown2834 it tells you on that setting now that its not a guarantee for you to matchmake with Xbox.
@@robertstevens7288 I know that but it’s pretty reliable. I got pc friends and I can never inv because I’m on Xbox only. There’s only 5 boats on a server. It’s not like you need hundreds of ppl. I’ve played for a lil over two months and I haven’t seen a single hacker.
@@bengalbrown2834 Maybe iv just played too long and need a reason to throw in the towel. Just one too many things broken that have not been fixed. Got 3500 hours out of it so thats that.

Once upon a time, I played against a hacker who teleported to my boat just to spawn camp me. After a few spawn camps, I killed him with the power of hit reg. Moral of the story, hit reg is anti cheat. Then he proceeded to spawn infinite kegs on my boat. Moral #2 if you get hacked on, just dive and fight somebody. You have better chances.
In solo hourglass I had an opponent who teleported on my ship. He also could see where I would spawn and he also had an aimbot. He wasn't even aiming at me when shooting but I was constantly hit. Impossible to win in that situation.

Its a good battle, but we shouldnt have to fight against people using those tools. I have been watching the escape from Tarkov situation with interest and its upsetting that even our silly pirate game is becoming infested with exploit users.
Exploit users? That's not the same as hackers, my friend.
It's not exactly the most honourable of gameplays, but exploiting at least keeps to the bounds of the game, no 3rd party software. Exploiting is what usually allows speedrunners in singleplayer games to make world records.
The guys in the video were hackers.

@@nailagciad hacking is using modified code. Exploits are taking advantage of developer mistakes/bugs.
@@nailagciad for example, juggling a chest to move faster is an exploit that takes advantage of desync. The developers obviously intended players carrying items to be significantly slower than an unladen player. So juggling items is just as bad as a speed hack.

idk if this is 100% of the time, but whenever I am on an allys brig, whoever is hugging the helm will have their audio very muffled just while holding the wheel. So I try to hop off the wheel whenever I need to give directions so they can actually hear me.

kinda new to the game. I play xbox. Most of the hacks I see are for PC but are there common xbox hacks as well? as far as I know I havent encountered hackers yet

i will openly admit that i have cheated in the past. 10 years ago or more. I can say it was not fair and i know why i did it. Now i am playing fair than ever and i will say i've seen both sides of the coin. It's not fun for anybody to play like this. I felt bad doing it only for a day and never used them in my life ever again. i felt guilty and might never be good at games or even try to get good. I only wanted to see what it would do after being in lobbies with some cheaters. I learned my lesson to cheating and never ever touched them in my life again. It's been 10 years or more since it happened and i am happy for what i am doing now. Unfortunately These guys may or may not learn in the future but they might learn that even a good pirate without some sort of boost, he will still beat you. So i am glad that Hitbo is taking care of these pesky skally-wag nonsense cheaters back to Davy Jones's locker or worse.

hold on stop for a second an episode of peppa pig being banned in Australia for teaching kids spiders were safe makes way more sense of a ban then many of the other banned/edited episodes of kids series

Hear me out guys. I watched like 6-8 videos of HitboTC and it feels like he is always encountering the same "enemies" in his videos. And they always seem to have a different voice/accent though the player's name remains the same over multiple videos (like "Banana Larinna", "Nine Cat Cura"). So maybe all these vids or livestreams are just like roleplaying for this streamer and these "enemies" are not really "enemies" but just playing along with the script. Still fun to watch but feeels a bit fishy to be honest.
Gamer tag replace in Sea of Thieves. A setting streamers use to protect the identity of players you run into.
