Honestly i love tojis dub voice his "your a sorcerer" line in shibuya was fantastic and the fact that he sounds like megumi is the icing on the cake for me, his voice not being as deep as the jp wasnt really a problem for me because i know that being big or muscular doesnt mean having a deep voice. And finaly i also like getos english voice however i do agree with you that it sounds a little weird when hes a teen but it fits him nearly perfectly when hes older.
@@gastar805 Yeah I get that a bigger frame doesn't always equal a deeper voice. I definitely think they should've tried a more appropriate casting to fit the tone of the JP though. I think EN dubs trying to match it in that way is usually more good than bad
imo i like toji's english voice cause it gives him more personality and makes him sound more unique, he don't sound like a kid at all to me. JP toji just sounds like basic deep voice anime villain guy. Like it's good, but we have like 20 other anime guys who are the exact same

@@ErickGTRZ See, to me, the JP voice fits more to me, but only because I know his VA from not just JoJo's, but perhaps even more memorably Kaguya-sama, where he also plays a deadbeat dad. So for Toji, who's like a mix between Dio's savagery and Papa Shirogane's deadbeat attitude? Yeah, it was pretty easy for me to hear the voice and be like "Yep, that's fuckin' perfect" 😂

Well, to be blunt Geto is factually correct, but he's morally bankrupt. If he went through with his plan, ignoring all the problems short term and long term, humans eventually WOULD evolve into Sorcerers, and curses WOULD cease to exist. But his plan is a dogshit shower thought he picked up to cope with himself rather than actually try and change the world, so it falls apart fast.

For the other characters u compared geto logic to the differnce is his plan would fundamentally solve the major problems and make their jobs obsolete almost, it’s just insane.
