      Sounds a lot like me, I have the MCT, TPXL, OTXL and TP5B ... now I’m dying the OT-MC... same footprint as the MCT but open top, I’m thinking it would be a good general tools bag to live on my cart

    I wish Veto made this bag with a handle like the RB-MC. I have the RB-MC and while I can make it work with my tools, it would work out so much better with a full Tech style setup inside.

    • @SomeGuywithTools
      @SomeGuywithTools  3 года назад

      This Tech-MCT is the same bag body as the RB-MC, but it doesn’t have the same top handle that you’re looking for.. that said, I’ve never had an issue with this handle that’s on the Tech-MCT.

      If you’re dead set on that type of hinged top handle, it looks like you’d have to go up to one of the Tech Pac models

      I do have a tool cart, and I use it the majority of the time. But I try to tackle the simpler calls without it first and stick to working out of a tool bag, if that doesn't cut it then I'll wheel in my cart.

      The strap itself is comfy, it all just depends how much you load up the bag whether it will feel too heavy… if I cram it full though it gets heavy, but not unbearable

  • @joep4143
    @joep4143 3 года назад

    Get decent tools. Get all Klein cutters and screwdrivers. Get yourself some channel lock pliers. Just because you have German shit doesn’t make them better. Just blowing money to pretend you are better. I lived in Europe and had Wha and Knipex. Everyone there was seeking Klein. Come on man, don’t show off! People know better.

    • @joep4143
      @joep4143 3 года назад

      Thought I was going to be watching a video to see what the tool bag was about and tools used although I don’t work on electric. The video ended up as a commercial for Weha and Knipex. It’s quite interesting how people that have these brand tools work less. Not hating but you could make the video without spending the time bragging about the brands. You remind me of ladies trying to justify the price of a $1000 purse.

    • @SomeGuywithTools
      @SomeGuywithTools  3 года назад

      @@joep4143 haha I like that analogy even though you’re making fun of me, I guess these tools and bags are kind of a guys version of those expensive purses. I’m not sure how owning these brands translates to me working less than someone who owns klein and channel locks but that’s cool if that’s how you feel. The difference between me owning these tools and owning cheaper ones is that it motivates me to take care of them, so every few weeks I clean them and lube them so they stay working for as long as I do

    • @joep4143
      @joep4143 3 года назад +1

      @@SomeGuywithTools Great answer. I apologize. It makes perfect sense. Invest more money and you take care of them better. In the long run you have great tools that cost less because they last longer. You should actually say that in the video. You would be doing a service to people watching because they wouldn’t be wasting money replacing cheaper tools that they don’t respect. Sorry for being a prick. Makes all the sense in the world now.
