This guitar is incredible! It has a thin neck that allows for quick sliding/shredding. It has a warm sound from the neck pickup and the tuning stability increased dramatically after setup! This guitar is for licks and solos (slow and fast), but not for extremely heavy sounds (of course that can play heavy metal solos). The clean tone is very appealing to me and it shines extremely well with a mix of delay, chorus and echo. I have this in standard tuning for my personal ambiental stuff! For heavy things, I suggest others. My recommendation is that before buying it, if possible, try to play it to see if this guitar matches your needs.
Absolutely! For now I am playing a fender strat . Everything is okay but the thik neck is just not for me ! It's doesn't allows me to practice shredding stuffs man ! I played an Ibanez rg1440 prestige (2011) before , and my man, it feels out of the world ! And after playing the ibanez , I'm sure that ibanez is something that's made for me ! I understand it! I am also a fender guy! :D I still have may Vester sunburst (strat-like) for more that 20 years and actually my "warm-up guitar" is a Fender Telecaster also sunburst. Despite being comfortable with them, may RG´s are killer in heavy sounds! Go for it, if love a prestige in the past I bet you will love it now! Thank you so much man! Cheers!
