Great national park. Zim is blessed. Contrast this place to other national parks like Gonarezhou, Matopos and Vumba/ Chimanimani and you will see how diverse Zim topography is. Thanks for the work you are doing my Bro
We were just in time to avoid the worst of the rainy season. I would definitely recommend dry season though 😄 I'm glad they're working on these parks, there really are some amazing places in Zim.
We drove the Road Binga to Karoi >> First did Chizzarira and then Down to Matusadonna Landy Defender towing a heavy 4x4 Trailer >> Tashinga was magic Aug 1999 when the road was really bad... Hectic Dry River Crossing at thre bottom >> Landy Towed us out Perfectly. We carried our Fuel in Jerry Cans on the roof >> Aug is the Best time to go to the bush anywhere from Kruger to Etosha to Matusadonna .. The Road in your Video looks like the Nicol Highway Bryanston Sandton compared to when we did it. Lots of road making by us to make further progress down and up. We were the ONLY residents in camp for 9 days apart from 'No Nine' the Camp attendant who brought us a wheelbarrow of wood every night. My then 2 young Teen Boys Loved it. Hope you stayed at Tiger Safaris at Chirundu >> after staing there downstream from Chirundu we went to Mana Pools
Wow! That sounds like it was quite an experience. Africa Parks is doing a really good job of restoring the park based on what we saw and our interactions there. Would love to do this trip in the dryer part of the year, but unfortunately not possible for us. We'll be heading to Gonarezhou though in the dry months, really looking forward to that.
Another great one guys...I was passing by matusadona 2 years ago if I had more info in the part I would have stopped over. Now I will definitely take a look slnext time I am in the area.
Of all your posts I enjoyed this one the most. I can associate with your feelings of being deeply connected to a place like this. This was a combination of adventure and stress replaced by great inner peace and then it seems the corruption of the human soul shows its ugliness in the worst possible way.
Thanks, beautiful area, really enjoyed it. We had some issues with an authority seemingly looking for a bribe, rather unpleasant. More on that in the next episode 😉
Hardly any water got into the tent. A minor dribble along one of the corner seams. Nothing of significance really. The tent really has shown it's mettle. There was water getting under the tent too, so the floor was bubbling up, but no water got in.
Such an awesome trip. I’ve just come back from Zim. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back.
Thanks for sharing
Such an amazing place. We would also love to go back in the dry season. Glad you enjoyed the trip.
Enjoy the episode? Tell us what you think.
Just loved the elephant encounter quite hilarious 😂 😃 😄.
Nice to have elephant walking through the campsite 😁 Such a beautiful place 👌🏾
Man I miss home
Beautiful country 🙏🏽
Once the road network is sorted out….. the back of the park up in the range is amazing… spectacular views….
Would love to see it.
The outdoors sure allows for some epic adventures!
Very true, and this is a great place to spend outdoors 👌🏾
Excellent!!!! Epic adventure... Curious to that teaser conservation (15:50) Can't wait for the next episode
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏾
Wow I would love to do a trip like this for the birding there are some real cool species I still need from zim
I saw a Narina Trogon in the campsite! My one and only sighting ever. Brief but unmistakable!
@@TravelGigolo wow that's absolutely amazing man
Yes it was quite something! Maybe a once in a lifetime experience.

Thanks for the positive feedback 👍🏾
such an amazing beautiful place!
Absolutely wonderful! Loved it. It is a beautiful place.
Excellent to see these less frequented places. Certainly now on the radar… in the wet season nogal …😵💫

Lekker stuff well done
Very nice place! Next time we may try the ferry just to experience that.

Definitely worth visiting, especially now that the road has been improved. I will go back if I can at some point in the future.
♥️Great video
😹😹😹The elephant part though 😹but you still went to check😹😹
That was quite a fright! Was not expecting that at all.
😂😂😂,
On your next video, hope you video yourself going up the 700m elevation.
Those roads are quite 'interesting' after the rain 😁 But certainly worth the effort.
♥️Great video
Thanks!

Thank you, appreciate that feedback. What an amazing place, and quite a journey as well.
Excellent video...what was the story at the end where that guy said he will arrest your wife, what was his problem 😳
Thanks, beautiful area, really enjoyed it.

That storm looked rough! Did the inside of the tent stay dry?

@@TravelGigolo now that's a tent worth buying. Seriously impressive! :)
It's definitely one of our best camping purchases.
Bhahaha
