Yes the tea is offered around 3-4 in the dining room on sea days! Have fun and thanks for watching! Alfredo’s is now $15 per person without a premium package. That’s a new change. It is still a nice place! The tea is no charge. I just was on a Princess cruise and found this out! Thanks for watching! ☀️🚢
I now understand where to eat for free although you didn’t mention the main dining room.
But what drinks are included, where are they accessible, and what times are they available?
The main dining room is a separate video, but yes, that is included free with your cruise fees. Free drinks are lemonade, ice tea, water and coffee or tea. Any other drinks are ordered from a server and charged to your room. You can get the free drinks in the buffet any time, the specialty coffee (for a cost) is 24 hours, and most bars will give you free water, if you ask! You can buy drinks whenever you want! I bring a water bottle and contigo coffee mug to make it easier! Thanks for watching!
It’s so frustrating not knowing what is included in your fare. I have been trying to call and only getting limited info from the customer service where I can dine that is complimentary. All they talk about is the premium plus package. Thank you for your video.
I will buy a specialty dinner at the Italian restaurant or steakhouse ($35 and $39 per person respectively) and I buy a coffee card at the international cafe (15 coffees for $35). Sushi Bar is pay as you go, the buffet, main dining room and Alfredo’s are included in your cost! I don’t do the drink package, it’s not worth it for me! Thanks for watching! 😊🚢

We are sailing on the Royal to Alaska next month. At the International Cafe you mentioned a coffee card. I haven’t seen anything about that, tho I am also a first time cruiser so this may be a silly question, but what is that?
Hi thanks for watching! You get 15 coffees for $32 or $35 dollars. So it works out to $3 for an espresso, latte, macchiato. That kind of coffee. Kind of like a Starbucks where you can have flavors etc. if you like that kind of coffee, just ask them when you are buying your first one and they can sell you it. It saves you a little $$! Enjoy your cruise! ☀️🚢
Haven't yet been on the Royal, but just came from the Grand. The food was great, except the breakfasts. And they used UHT milk - not fresh, which was not good. Can't wait for my trip on the Royal in November. Thanks for this
I really liked the Grand too, I don’t recall any issues with the milk! Possibly a port issue? You will enjoy the Royal Princess! It is larger with many of the same things as the Grand, but it also has its own personality. I like both! Thanks for watching!☀️🚢
Where do you park in San Francisco for embarkation if driving own car?
They have pier parking but don’t park there. There is a parking structure that people use nearby and it’s more secure. I don’t know the name of it. We had a ride the the ship. Some people take a ferry and park in Vallejo. It’s inexpensive. Not sure where you are coming in from. I would search the parking structures in the area on the internet.
Do you think there is enough variety for a 14 day cruise from the complimentary restaurants?
Thanks for watching! I think they do a good job with rotating their items. You will see the same stations in the buffet with different themes, salads and soup change. The poolside items remain the same but you can try different things to switch it up. The main dining for a scheduled 14 day will have different themes daily. Princess does a good job with the “included” food. You can always schedule a specialty restaurant during the cruise if you want a change of scenery! 😊🚢
Is the Trident grill open on embarkation day?
It says on my Princess Patter it was open from 1100a to 9p. The pizza place, Slice, has the same hours.
As of August 2023 they charge for the pizza :( and some of the other casual places.

It was in New Zealand in October, it came over from Vancouver for your Spring and Summer Season. The passenger capacity for the Royal Princess is 3,600 guests. The average capacity for the 17 active ships in Princess’s fleet is 2,985 passengers.
Is there any food for people with Diabetes such as sugar free or low sugar dishes? Everything looks delicious, but for some people it may be "deadly"
The have many sugar free desserts and the best thing you can do is to let your waiter know you have special dietary needs. I think you can tell them on the phone and they can note it in your reservation. Day 1 go to the dining room and talk to the maitre’d so they can note that. They will accommodate you!
