Sahil is out to make some revolutionary musalmaans! I think musalmaan revolutionaries , in that order, would be a better starting point. Prophet (pbuh) grew up as an orphan. Arabs of that time had an idea of one God ( hanifs) and he himself was not a fan of idol worshiping. At the age of 25 he got noticed by a business woman 15 years older than him and she ended up marrying him and he was in a monogamous relationship until some divine commandments way later in his life. The only reason he got noticed by this woman was that he had a reputation of being an Honest and Fair man. So essentially these were the two fundamental qualities until prophecy came to him at age 40. After only this he became a Revolutionary! And rest is history. So the point is are we HONEST and FAIR? These are the prerequisites at the fundamental level to be a revolutionary. We should not expect any revelations from above but definitely there is no dearth from within. Allah knows best.

Drawbacks are in every thought but what is the uniqueness in any thought which can be relevant to present era. Their are major interpretations of Islam available some of them are Imam ibn taimiya, Imam ghazzali, shah waliullah dehlwai and Syed Maududi. If you try to understand these major thoughts you have to read first Quran and sunnah and then you decide which one is very close to Quran and sunnah then you must follow.

For some reason he only seems to be amazed by maududi only whereas there are far more greater personalities from subcontinent in last 300 years. But Qur'an has all the solutions of present & future... If you doubt it? Qur'an has many challenges for it's readers, if you dare then give it a try

Quran does not even know that Earth is not flat (verse 15:19) and not static (but spinning), that it goes around Sun (also spinning) which is just one of billions of Stars (going around center of galaxy) in just one (milky-way) of the billions of galaxies in universe and Moon splitting (54:1)
Quran gives wrong or no reasons for natural phenomenon like origin (and age) of universe (verses 2:29, 7:54, 21:30 & 79:27) day & night (verse 18:86&90, 36:38-40), brightness of stars and meteors (verse 67:5 & 37:6-8), mountains (verse 78:6-7) eclipses, rains (verse 24:43), earthquakes and lightening (verse 99:1-8 & 13:12).
Quran get human physiology wrong viz. verse 75:38, 96:2 (embryology), verse 86:5-8 (semen and sperm)
Quran has many contradictions like verse 2:256 vs 9:5 & 29, 47:4, 2:191, 8:65 (on tolerance), verses 22:47 vs 32:5 vs 70:4 (length of day), arithmetic inconsistencies in verse 4:11, 4:12 & 4:176 (on inheritance rules).
Quran perpetuates contemporary malpractices like slavery, child marriage, discrimination against women (wife beating, polygamy, marital rape, unequal inheritance & competence), minorities (kafirs, homosexuals, apostates).
Go ahead refute these and tell me what challenges it poses to Humanity?

@@deepsareen1The Glorious Qur'ān is revealed in Arabic which is a vast and comprehensive language through which we can even derive the concept of Ijtihad due to its language usage, hence the holy Qur'an talks with humanity in layers within a single Ayah as well for you to comprehend, contemplate and explore answers through time as well - that's one of the miracle of Qur'ān & proof that a human never achieve such piece of literature which is beyond time & space due to its language usage & ideas; answering your points specifically, Al Qur'ān 15:19 never said Earth's "flat", copy the word and check in dictionary, it's general meaning is "expansion" and that's what most of the mufassrin took i.e., "spreading out" (due to its context) and in science, such phenomena is known as "Seafloor spreading" (look up for it's defination) then you proceed with nonsensical claims, then talked about Moon splitting which is literally a "miracle" for the people of Arab of 7th century for some seconds & miracle, by definition, inherently breaks the physical phenomena or laws of nature as we know & establishes the proof that it's done by the one who controls the nature in first place, which is a rational conclusion for the people who take heed on reality. We don't even claim "miracles" are suppose to be scientific, and as for "proof", we have enough eye witnesses & their mutawatir narrations (whose authenticity goes beyond doubt in Sciences of Hadith) which is enough for us to believe in their testimonies that they experienced such an event in their lifetime once. Then you proceed with 3 paragraphs of only quoting ayah with your own headings and has no comprehensive explanation on what's your actual understanding (which I doubt if you even contemplate on its translations of it's meaning or read it's Tafsīr/exegesis among Muslims) so I don't even know what answer you were expecting. Lastly you made some stupid mixed up claims with some false, some mixed, some true things with subjective emotions with no rational understanding of the topic, without any objective Criteria of Judgement. You need to first make proper research on the claims you make or atleast ask the people of knowledge in the subject, then if it conflicts your mind or reasoning then bring your proof and proper reasoning with acceptable standards, if you're truthful.
Edit: Moreover, your approach is false as well, where you're directly jumping on detailed Ahkaam or Furu' (Jurisprudential), secondary issues or ambiguous Ayah' discussion, etc. whereas you are first needed to address and refute (if you disagree substantially) on the FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS of Islām and the Message brought by the Messenger of God Almighty; you must first discuss & address the PRIMARY claims Islām came with & orders humanity to believe & obey in, & in them comes basic human, it's characteristics, needs & addressing those needs with right answers based on human reasoning & observing the reality with senses & comparing it to the message brought and accepting your dependency & limitness of mind, knowledge & resources which helps you prove the Existence of One God, need of messengers and Al-Qur'ān being the Word of God (implied every word in it is from divine source now), pure rational approach with enlightened thinking process unlike Scientific approach which is limited to only deep thinking. Simple as that. All the best.

Sahil Adeem is just talking abstract things. It is very easy to criticize and condemn everything and suggest things where there is no tangible example. No objective /concrete suggestion except referring to Quran.
