PCT 2024 Day 58: Evolution Lake - Muir Pass - Bishop Jct

9/17 We woke up to a beautiful snowy morning at Evolution Lake. It was 27° so we quickly packed up and staryed walking uphill to Muir Pass. This is my favorite section this time from Muir Pass towards Bishop Junction. It is so stunningly beautiful! Beautiful clear turquoise lakes (Helen), waterfalls, jagged rugged mountains. Also it was DOWNHILL! 3500' down in 7.5 miles! We are going as far as we can today since snow is coming again tomorrow and Thursday. Time to get out of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is still sunny days ahead but ee will be done before they are back after this storm.
