"What the f*#k is this monkey doing here In Monkey Hill"? 😜 Judging by the looks of her med. length bushy tail, I think she is a typical Rhesus macaque with a unique hairstyle going on. 😎
She's what is called a Hybrid I would guess. One of her parents was a Toque Monkey, some people call them Bonnet monkeys but they're still macaques. How that monkey ended up in Hong Kong is definitely a head scratcher! They have some very strong physical features that will take many generations to breed out. Rhesus macaques are softer, more rounded and much more beautiful. The Toque monkey isn't built for comfort she's built for speed and they fight to hold their ground!! The worst part about them is they're babies are so ugly you can't help but cringe just a little the first time you see them!! The poor little ugly things do grow on you though.
There's nothing stupid about this female bonnet macaque (or possibly a hybrid.) On the contrary, she's quite regal & must be high-ranking. One wonders how she popped up in Monkey Hill Road in the first place. . .was she abandoned? 🙈🙉🙊🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸
Corrections, the scientific names of the crab-eating macaque and rhesus macaque are actually Cynomolgus fascicularis and Calidopithecus mulattus respectively, also, the correct scientific name of the bonnet macaque is actually Indocebus radiatus.
I love that Arroz doesnt beat around the bush, he’s just like, the tuft of hair that “makes them look rather stupid! “ I’m sorry, I think the bonnets are cute! Am I alone??? Makes them look comical! Lmao! That one monkey looks like he stole Donald Trump’s hair!
IMO she is a Rhesus Macaque that has either lost or pulled out her hair, resulting in an appearance similar to a Bonnet Macaque. My reasons for believing this... 1. She has a short tail. 2. She is similar in size to the Rhesus that was grooming her, a female Bonnet Macaque would be a fair bit smaller than a Rhesus (about 3lbs and 10cm). 3. Although her hairline is similar to a Bonnet Macaque, she does not have the distinct part down the centre and her head hair is not darker than her body hair. I don't know if it's possible for her to be a 'hybrid' or mixed species, possibly the offspring of an ex pet that had been abandoned on Monkey Hill, but I think she is most likely a Rhesus, unique in appearance!
Looks like she has been shaved our she is mixed half bonnet and the other half Rhesus. She just doesn’t have the full features of a bonnet to me. Bonnet are cute in there in a weird kind of ways. They have a really neat documentary on Disney
She's Rhesus. She has had medical or experiment work? She appears to have a deep scar right under her hairline? Thankfully, she has a good home. She's magnificent!
How did they get there. Yah I have watched wild life of the ones you showed first. They on the program seemed mild nanered. Some one may have had it for a pet and dropped it there.
She is pulling out her hair and eatikg it like gypsy does to her children. Some type of nervous disorder, I knew girl that actually did this until she noticed the bald spot on her head then she stopped.
Lol...though she is definitely not a very handsome gal she is definitely not a bonnet macaque! Their faces are much different and they have a very distinct look that she does not have. This gal has a Rhesus face but is just missing all the hair along side her face which makes the hair on her head stand out more I think!
I like appearance and see many differences from the others, live the "clean shaved" look, ears are different as well as skin tone. Yeah new breed! Would like to see a baby of this one.
My husband says if you are looking for a name for the Bonnet Macaque looking one, may he recommend Billie Rae? (As she looks like she's wearing a mullet) lol.... ( For a reference look up Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus from the 80's. 😁
@@chelledoll321 I agree 100% just because she has high-ranking doesn't mean she still doesn't get stress although and all the studies but they've done the higher the ranking the less stress they exhibit so this one kind of weird it doesn't make much sense she is being groomed by another monkey and you just don't see low-ranking monkeys getting groomed a lot but whatever her hair plucking her hair out and it's an OCD trait if you asked me just my opinion
Her hair looks like Moe from The Three Stooges, the strange thing is it flows down her back like a lions mane which makes her look much different than a Rhesus. Her face is pale. Then her age and being part of a troop is even more weird. I can't call it.
0:58 - 1:41 I was wondering why Sweetpea was acting like that in other videos, a stranger 'you' were there filming him lol, he's obese not muscular but he has lost a lot of weight, his hind legs are disabled because of long term obesity. No a bonnet has a completely different face. This monkey has a Rhesus face just missing the hair all alongside the face. It definitely does not have a bonnet face which is very distinct

Big Boy Sweetpea making a cameo with uncle Arroz....
She is pulling facial hair out during the film. Self mutilation most probably due to stress
😄😅😂
Just you 😂
That monkey shouldn't be in monkey hill it will change the beautiful rhesus monkeys looks.
Maybe that one got mixed with some of the stray dogs or wild pigs!!!😂🤣😅
Poor babe has some severe BFRD. So similar to us. Like an anxious human picking their eyelashes or scratching their skin.
since its constantly plucking hair & hair cant be digested, nor does it pass thru, it probably has a huge hair ball in its gut and that can be deadly
A Rhesus Macaque with stress syndrome causing her to pluck herself or she's having alopecia areata or both.
😁🇸🇪🏴☠️
No doubt finally the right answer on here
How did they get there. Yah I have watched wild life of the ones you showed first. They on the program seemed mild nanered. Some one may have had it for a pet and dropped it there.
Lol...Rhesus macaques are actually the most aggressive of all the macaques
She is so beautiful to me!!!!!please help her?
She is pulling out her hair and eatikg it like gypsy does to her children. Some type of nervous disorder, I knew girl that actually did this until she noticed the bald spot on her head then she stopped.
Lol...though she is definitely not a very handsome gal she is definitely not a bonnet macaque! Their faces are much different and they have a very distinct look that she does not have. This gal has a Rhesus face but is just missing all the hair along side her face which makes the hair on her head stand out more I think!
All the girls will be chasing after the handsome one.
Not a bonnet. I think she has partial alopecia, or some other condition, or has pulled it out.
She have a shiny face and seems cute
I like appearance and see many differences from the others, live the "clean shaved" look, ears are different as well as skin tone. Yeah new breed! Would like to see a baby of this one.
Lol Yeah, Sweetpea is a terrible example of a Longtail 😉
Love 💕
My husband says if you are looking for a name for the Bonnet Macaque looking one, may he recommend Billie Rae? (As she looks like she's wearing a mullet) lol.... ( For a reference look up Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus from the 80's. 😁
A Bonnet Hybred dropped off as an ex- pet when she was very young maybe?
That looks like SweetPea!
Lol it is
It looks like Trichotillomania. Over the yrs she has pulled out her hair.
Not her own hair necessarily but with the help of others...often more than one in a troop will exhibit excessive hair plucking.
Gina Powell I agreed the hair pulling gotta be a stress factor and she is one rheus breed , not two. .
@@chelledoll321 and I think she's one hundred percent rhesus macaque I don't think she's a crossbreed
She has a nervous twitch. Pulls out her own hair
the moe Howard looking one's feet are HUGE.
If you want to video the healthy males Jack, BJ, Donny, Sweetpea's brother Polino or Maddix would have been a better long tail macaque. Sweetpea is funny
Nothing called new world macaques
🙋🙋🙋 could be bonet the 2nd skin color goes all the way down the back. Hmmm
No a bonnet has a completely different face. This monkey has a Rhesus face just missing the hair all alongside the face. It definitely does not have a bonnet face which is very distinct
@@PrimateProductions how about the different colored back?
Maybe she's a hybrid toque and rhesus, or toque and LTM.
the Toque is certainly pulling/eating her own hair. Be it stress or OCD, but either way, it's OMG.
Aah Sweetpea. Not the best example of a long tail.
That was Sweet Pea! The long tailed Macaque he showed.
Please please I can only hope she is fixed . I love all animals . but I am sorry to say she not what I would want Dopey to breed with 😜. Bad enough those long tails are to close to the Rhesus monkey as is . Some dummy must had thought it was a good idea to dump the poor girl thinking it was fine . 😡 I believe you are right. Thank you for sharing Arroz 🦋☮️🌻💜🕊🐒🐵stay safe and well.
We got a plucker 😂🙈
Whose a mother 😉
@@comet1227 lmfao dude we’d be friends IRL not gonna lie 😂😂
You outted his weave!
😂👏🏼
@@805Bird
Yes!
Arroz who sold her the bad toupee?
Maybe a Bonet/Rhesus hybrid? Maybe one of the parents was a dumped pet Bonet and mated with a wild rhesus.
She looks to have a nervous plucking habit. She’s not a bonnet.
Do these varieties of monkeys cross breed like the pigtails and longtails do?
Looks like Anchor Watt isn't the only place people abandon their unwanted pets
It's Angkor Wat, to be precise. "Wat" is the Cambodian word for temple. 🏯🏯🏯
