- Reaction video time brings us the long awaited, "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6"! The DHMIS series has always been creepy, weird and perfectly awesome. We have been very anxiously awaiting the opportunity to react to number 6, and to say the least, it didn't disappoint!
I will definitely be seeing these characters in my subconscious for years to come! :-D

All three of them were their favorite colors from episode 1.
Also, that was Roy, (yellow guys dad from episode 2) at the machine with red at the end. He's been in every episode since. Hiding in the shadows. Just look it up, super creepy.

I like how every episode always starts with them debating the title
In the end when he was pulling the plug, he said: "I wonder what will happen." He also said that in DHMIS 3 when yellow kid ran away crying. Also, in the first episode, when the notebook was talking about it's hair, Red Guy said: "That sounds really boring." When Red was trying to pretend the file was coming to life, he said "See, cause.. I did it like a song" and the other Red guy immediately responded with "That sounds really boring."

Thanks for reacting to the whole don't hug me I'm scared videos!! If you don't know what red (a.k.a Harry which some people call him) said, he said I wonder what will happen. I think he thought that things would go back to normal but instead he reseted the whole thing all over to the first don't hug me I'm scared video but now instead of their original colors they're as their favorite colors that were told in the first video. I think it's a never ending cycle that will happen over and over again. I think that this is the last video sadly :( hope this made sense XD

Spazboy Comedy I know by over a year you probably want see this but please watch Film Theory explaining Don't Hug me I'm scared both episodes he absolutely nails it and even though you said you won't watch someone explaining it Film Theory and Game Theory put a lot of effort and weeks of research into their videos! I think he was very very incorrect in his observation but the creators did say whatever you believe is true is true
Getting hugged with skin crawling or gewwy supstances is a dont hug me moment
Basically, each of the characters represent a different age group. In the first second and third video, red guy represents teenagers, duck represents elders, and yellow guy represents little kids. Remember the yellow guy's dad in episode 2? He represents the media and companies that run all the programs and shows that all these age groups are exposed to (he goes by the name Roy). He's in almost every episode, hiding and making sure the "teachers" like the note pad in ep. 1 do their job and tell the age groups what is SUPPOSEDLY right and wrong. We obviously know that what they're teaching is wrong. In the fourth episode the red guy, or in this case, the teenage age group grows up into an adult. We know this because he followed a cord through a door and his head blew up. This is why in this episode, we see him in the adult world working. The Duck or elderly age group dies in ep. 5. He seemed to find out that something was wrong, like he said in the video, but died before he could warn yellow guy. We know Duck died because he picked up the ringing telephone, and was seen on his death bed. This leaves the Yellow guy/ little kids all alone as we see in this episode. He realizes something is wrong now, because in he tries to get the teacher in this episode (the lamp) to go away. Now while he still gets tormented by this "teacher", Red guy, now all grown up is working in an office, but he hasn't quite forgot what these "teachers" taught him, because we see him making a file dance around and talking about it coming to life. He wants to be different and creative, like we see in the bar, where he starts singing. The audience's reaction is supposed to symbolize how society acts when we try to be creative or express ourselves. Now when we see the scene cuts to the dad, or Roy, it shows him watching the Red guy. To sum it up, he offers Red guy a job behind tge scenes of making the television and programs that the age groups watch. The next scene where we see him pressing buttons and creating more "teachers", shows the amount of content that is pumped onto television everyday, because all the "teachers" are coming and going so fast. Red guy soon realizes what he is doing to the children and different age groups, when he sees Yellow guy screaming and crying. He then proceeds to pull the switch and put an end to everything. When it shows all the characters/age groups again in the next scene, they're all their favorite colors that they said in the very first episode. They're are many opinions about this scene, but I think the age groups are now free to express themselves, now that they aren't being told what to do by the companies and the media. This is why they are their favorite color. Yes it seems like the cycle is starting all over again, but now they are truly creative....

Hmm... I have read many similar comments. I wonder if the creators of DHMIS, when they first put out the first DHMIS video they had on their channel (it wasn't called Don't Hug Me I'm Scared at first) it was followed by some video of an artistic interpretive dance where the dancers were in black that was roundly panned as "terrible". People wanted a DHMIS 2 and not some random dance video. Dislikes were high and it kind of reminded me of Red guys reaction when he went on the stage. Later they removed the video and changed the name to Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. I wonder if they ever felt the sting of that, creating something that you want to share as art but the public wanting only more of the media they have been previously fed.

And it's also an ending in away because it shows red unplugging their show and making his own show without Roy (yellow guys dad) and they're all their favorite colors with less props around them because red guy doesn't have the kind of money, but he has the allowance the freedom to let them see what they want to be in their show.
Before I get into anything good I must say is the whole show is on June 19th. What happened is when red guy pulled the plug, the date turned to June 20th they were free because yellow guys father (the long arm guy) is the reason for all of the nightmares so when he pulls the plug Father's Day is over and that all happened because every episode is on June 19th except for the end of this one. So since it is now June 20th, the whole crew will be free and red guy would never leave and yellow guy would never eat the duck
Hey Curtis, apparently DHMIS is coming back! They just posted a teaser for new content (either a new episode or possibly a full new season) on their channel, entitled "Wakey Wakey" if you wanted to watch and/or react to it!

Great video guys. I love DHMIS and i'm really happy you reacted to part 6 :) oh and Red says "I wonder what'll happen?".
I believe that there are many interpretations of this show but I think a big over arching part of it is the fact that the red guy might be the creator or part of a duo who created the show and his show slowly kept getting fucked up by his partner/network slowly taking his creative control away and that’s why he finally left which would explain why everything after he left got shitter because he was the one who was trying to keep it at least a little quality which also explains why Roy was there at the end he was looking for him so he could come back to the show and when the red guy was messing with the Controls he was trying to fix the mess of his partner/the network until they finally decided it needed a reboot but done right and fine with the red guy in creative control that’s why at the very end everyone was their favorite color and that’s why the notepad had its eyes crossed the show is no longer fucked up and everything is as it should be
The " red guy moments" ( except for him pressing the buttons ) was like a independient movie quality xD.

This is more of a prelude, this is like True first episode when he meets Roy yellow guys father and they start to make the show together.
The show is about their creativity being oppressed by the media (the machine that controlled yellow guy's dreams and shit towards the end.) and when Red conformed to the media (had a boring job and a boring life.) he decided to "pull the plug" and inspired the other two characters to be who they want. (which is why in the end, they are their favorite colors from the first episode, as the notepad said their colors "were not creative" ex: Green is not a creative color.) Hope this explains a bit to you Spaz Guys, btw, I've loved your videos for the longest time! Keep it up!

When he unplugged the machine, it became a different world that no dark things happen like the rest are dark and the reason why they changed colors because they are their favorite colors

actually the guy with the big arm is the yellow guy's dad and u can actually see him 1) in theater, 2) in phonebooth, 3) behind the window when the yellow guy is drowning and 4) in the photo book first photo on the right... basically the red guy had actually stopped the show from happening which is the reason why u can now see the sun and the date changes.. if u watch part one red, the yellow guy and the duck says there favorite color which is what they are now after the plug was pulled which shows that there mind is now set free and that there better, but the duck he was actually dead bcz in part 5 he got eaten that's why he didn't show up.. the yellow guy didn't want the lamp to sing bcz he notices the thing's that can go wrong and he tries to stop it but he apart of him can't so thats why he gets trapped in the show still.. tbh this is my theory based on this show😛
If you see the monitor just before the world is unplugged, you can see the Yellow Guy's nose become crooked like his dad's.
The objects like the notepad are 'teaching' them stuff - in what they belief is a nice way, so you could replace that with the hugging from dont hug me im scared
