This game looks to be right up my alley. WW2/monsters - yep. I love when game designers can keep things compact, minimal, and efficient. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for this one.
I got the book set for this a few weeks ago so I could dive into it when we go on vacations. I wish the token set came with the weapons and such, but they at least have all the PnP files available, so I printed out character sheets and the weapons then laminated them. Pretty cheap way to play a campaign game, and I completely agree the spiral scenario books are the best. Ever since Jaws of the Lion, it's my preferred way of playing these "dungeon crawl" type games.
Marco has done a great job with the game. I have been following his development of the game for over a year and he has been very responsive to feedback on the design of the game. Game is nice and compact. Current Kickstarter takes the game to the next level.
Finally got my kickstarter in and been playing with a friend. It's fun and quick nature plus choosing what to do next really scratches an itch for me. Also they have a new one on kickstarter at the moment
I believe there is an issue with the pages sticking together next to the rings in the scenario book. Also two pages of errata re the rules? Personally, I rely on your reviews Rob and your enthusiasm for this game speaks volumes. Ordered, and I will be careful with the scenario book😀. Hope you and yours are well. 😊🇬🇧
This does look like alot of game for the size of the box that it comes in. I'm also a big fan of games that use the spiral backs for their books. I'm in the process of having all my Shadows of Brimstone rule books as well as the Hex Crawl books converted over to spiral bound. Can't wait to see the play through of this one brother.
I have 2 copies of this game.. I need to sell on and get the other to the table.. Too many games and too many honeydos. How do you learn the games so fast? It takes me a couple days with most. Excited to get this on on the table.. Thanks again Rob!
Played a couple of scenarios last night at my friends house. I was pleasantly surprised
It really is very good
Got my deluxe copy last week and been loving it. Quality of components and ease of play is outstanding. Twice as many scenarios than I first thought.
