Disney movies of the 90s are magic because of Alan Menken's magnificent scores. Great cover!!!!

Pocahontas gets a bad rap but the score and songs are some of the best in any Disney movie. Alan Menken + Stephen Schwartz = perfection. And you captured it beautifully!

Come on! She's OBVIOUSLY not 10 years old in the Disney interpretation. Pocahontas is probably one of the oldest Disney female protagonists.
If you want to cry go cry on The Little mermaid video (which is also an amazing movie).

Amazing! You did this ending justice. I would love to see more of Alan Menken’s instrumental scores (like Transformation from Beauty and the Beast or Into the Light from Hunchback of Notre Dame)
I'm with you. We do need more Alan Menken work. Perhaps Hercules is a good choice because it uses a lot of Horns in the score. It would also be great to listen to The Transformation score.

Such a brilliant piece, and a lovely performance. My only gripe is that whenever I hear this piece, whatever the arrangement, I really feel the up-tempo portion needs to be extended to properly lead into the slowdown at the molto rall. It always feels truncated to me.

This sounds great! Could you provide some insight on your backing tracks? They sound way too professional to be midi, are you just playing along with the actual song?
Sometimes I recreate them with VSTs but yeah most of the time I actually just play over the original track like in this one :)
Ok so i hope he’s transposing what he’s playing to whats on the screen because those are not the fingerings I know for Fhorn for some of those notes like the D and G or maybe the 7 years I played I just played wrong or something idk please tell me I’m not the only one

The real Pocahontas was 10 or 12 years old while John Smith was in his mid to late 20s when they first met so leave it to Disney to get everything wrong. Check out the real Pocahontas on the Smithsonian Channel as it paints a truer picture of the woman.
