Just saw your PO Box is Lorton, VA. I lived there back in the 80’s when the prison was still there. Can’t imaging riding a motorcycle around there now. Doubt I could still find my way around. I’m living in NM now so I can take advantage of the long riding season. Guess I should mention I just bought a ‘19 FXFBS so I’m here looking at storage ideas.
You're going to LOVE that bike. Lorton has changed a bit. All of the prisons are gone. Sold off to developers. One of the prisons was turned into a arts workshop that is pretty cool. I've shot several videos there.
Thanks, Jampy. They are definitely a big help on a longer trip like this, but there are a couple of things that have bugged me about them already. Stay tuned!!
Tell me you love them, because I do. Next time we see each other I kinda wanna see how the nylon ones look on my bike, you're welcome to mock up my all leather ones. Not sure if its something that'll bug you but you'll notice a spot of rust at the mounting points, its not alot but something I notice when I remove the bags. Also idk about you but the locking lever comes dangerously close to my holdfast sissybar, wondering if you run in that issue as well
Since you, me, and VVoltz are going camping when I get back, we should be able to mount the nylons on your bike soon. 😁 I do love these bags but there are three things about them that I do not love. And you mentioned two of them. I’m planning to record a video in a couple of days about the bags to drop while we’re on the road.
I meant to add that I have added a pair of 50mm ammo cans to Furiosa. Toughest thing on that was adding the locks to the cans. Not as much space as bags but the pair cost $30
Going with the 2 into 1 makes a world of difference. Opens up the performance and gives you the ability to get those bags on the back! I’m still trying to determine if the bung king slider will work with my bassani road rage though.
You might try calling them and asking. They may know the answer but just not publish it like they did with the stock exhaust. When I get back from the trip, I can’t take some measurements of my pipes and slider placement. That might help you figure it out.
Great video Percy! Safe journey on the roads!
Thanks, Mike! We’re out here having a blast. We roll into the Badlands on Monday.
@@withPercy That's great! How's Sophie handling now with the new exhaust and tune?

Awesome vid, thanks, I am sure it will help a ton of people. Looking forward to your review of the bags! Be safe while on your trip and have fun!
Great Video, those should do very well for longer road trips!

@@withPercy I can't wait!
Good bags. Well-explained.
Nice! I've owned mine for over a year, and love em. I've also owned Viking saddlebags and others, LP is well worth the 💰.
I agree. I watched watched your content on the LPs and that certainly helped make my decision. Totally dig your channel, man.
@@withPercy Gracias hermano, a mi tambien me encanta tu canal.
Thanks for this vid
Hope it helped.
@@withPercy it did for sure - especially the part about the docking hardware and the sizes of bolts/spacers

Were you able to come up with a way to do a quick detach mount for those?
@@withPercy Insure was. They are bolted on a frame that attaches and locks with a key. Super easy to pull them off whenever you want to
