Ahhh yes... excellent video, Eddie. A 488 is definitely one of those cars that makes me give a double-take... one of those cars I could see myself using quite often. Gotta reach that status of baller. Keep up the great work man.
It's been a hot minute since I watched your videos, about a year. The production quality and your take on cars overall has really stepped up (not that it wasnt good before). And the best part is that there's still no clickbait. Keep it up!
I like the 488, but I would take a 458 honestly over it simply because the NA V8 sounds better and revs out. That turbo power in the 488 is ridiculous!
Hey Eddie great video. Something I did see that bothered me a little. The colors are kinda all over the place. You had some great color correction in the beginning with some cooler colors. But all these shots the reds are different color reds.
Reverted RF depends on what you mean by own... I mean yes anyone can go get a ridiculous loan and get into one of these but to legitimately be able to own operate, insure and maintain one yea you gotta be up there brother. Or be cool with someone who is. 😂😂
That UK car had something like $90k of options on it, was bought shortly after a 7% price increase and was sold after a few months. No surprise depreciation was heavy. It’s definitely easy to over-specify a Ferrari and some choices do little for you at resale time.
The S&P 500 has returned an average annual return of just over 13% over the past ten years. If you invested $1,200 a month for the past ten years in a S&P 500 index fund, you would have $296k to buy this car. Just go easy with the options.
John Jiang Nope not that simple , inflation eats away at those gains at an avg of 2% a year , once sold for liquid cash a 20% capital gains tax is incurred at the end of those 10 years without any special benefit . Better to volatility trade which is what I do using volatility products on a predictable basis ..made that amount in 4 years while also maintaining an IT job .
John Jiang No I’m not dumb enough to spend 200k on a car at my young age, Better to build equity and mature your TOA in a portfolio then leverage a pre owned one in a low interest rate Econ cycle and then make payments on it from what your earn on split dividends
Zi Chen It’s not a “stock” it trades like an equity so it has a ticker symbol but it’s an electronic traded note or ETN derived from the Vix index on SNP 500 option prices ...TVIX SVXY UVXY VVXY I go long or short them based on my analysis . The guy above me is basically describing a 401k but buying a Ferrari with it 😭😭😂😭😂😭😂😭😭😭😭😭😂😂
Here’s a tip.... next time you drive a luxury car for review... dress up a little. The car deserves a little more respect than shorts and a t- shirt. I weep for this generation.

I hope to review cars like this one day! Keep them coming EX.
Thanks!!

cool review and keep up the good work
off topic but what camera/lens/stand did you use for the close up headshots?
Great video!
Great Review
0:49 I've never seen rear brakes that big on a supercar
Ion know why almost EVERYONE who makes these vids never show the car perfectly from the side.its always an angled side view.
“It’s a really friendly supercar.”
*snap oversteer has entered the chat*
Love your content Eddie keep it up
Thanks!
I remember seeing on someone’s instagram story you kept messing up saying the into lol
Yeah that was my friend huzefa lol
F430 was the last beautiful Ferrari V8.

Eddie have you gotten your hands on a A90 Supra yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
Not yet, trying to!
is there a Ferrari 488 with openable doors up and an openable roof ?
Ferrari 488 only has conventional doors, and yes this one is a foldable hardtop
5'10" is tiny??? ☹
Lol

Yes! That should be posted on Wednesday
Next Doug demuro, youre really good bro
Thanks for the kind words!!
Hey Eddie, this or a 570?

Nice video. BTW, should have dropped the top a bit :)
I still like the 458 better esp the Speciale
Hahaha just listened to you complaining about the sound on the smoking tire podcast 😂
Nah gimme an F8 spider.
I would get a ferrari 488 spider and move to california if i ever win that powerball or mega millions lotto jackpot.
Every time he says “you can” I am reminded he is talking to the top 1% of our population. 😂😂
SeanScatpack Fallon you don't need to be a top 1% to own this lol

@@RS7evenSLDR Still *very* far from 1%.
The 458 front on this would be amazing
That would be cool!
5’10” is tiny ? ?
That's a Nice C8 Vette
Elite Gains no. The vette stole it's design from the Ferrari f12 lmao 😂 back when they made the c7
But is reliable as a huracan 🤔
So many new Ferrari models, think depreciation will increase
Possible!
EddieX Check out "The Car Guys" channel, he just sold his 488 for a considerable loss, but that was the UK and their market is all over the place.

blackice214 nice! Your 488 must be loaded with options then!

blackice214 Do you mind sharing which stock you used for volatility trade? Much appreciated
