The revisionism by united fans here just goes to show how stupid some of us are. Scott McTominay is never good enough for man united, now he's playing well in the italian league he's become a world beater hey 🙄 He needed to be sold but he shouldn't have been sold before certain other players. I'm glad he's doing well but Man united eats players up and he wouldnt be living up to his potential in our squad, simple as that, good for him but please stop spouting shite about we shouldn't have sold him, he runs loads and has passion, yep we know 👍
It is good McTominay left Man Utd. I am a Man Utd fan and I LOVE him but I cannot see how we can include him in Amorim's system, so it is better for all parties that he left for a place where he can thrive and help Man Utd balance the books while doing so. He had demonstrated that he does not have the attributes of a defensive midfield player or a deep lying midfielder, nor is he good at helping to build up the play. He is the most effective when there is a Striker to keep the CBs busy, giving him space to make runs into the box. So him leaving Man Utd was not a tactical loss for me. Manuel Ugarte far better fits the profile of the midfielder we need, a destroyer of a Defensive Midfield.
I loved McTominay, but I never felt he was used in the right positions until the second season of Ten Hag. Scott was the last player that Sir Alex Ferguson made sure of made the team and is one of the most underrated players we had. Unfortunately he was made a escape goat for the poor play during his partnering up with Fred, but when we saw how good he was the last seasons, we should never have sold him. This isnt Ten Hag, this is Ineos or the Glazer familys poor management of the club. Imagine how good he would have fitted in to Amorins system and rotational team. To sell a player in his prime is more than stupid and to sell him just to buy another player that maybe have McTominay's potential down the road and for 30-35£ mil more than we get for the player we sell is mismanaging at its finest, but thats what the Glazer family have brought to Old Trafford. We used to have Academy players here at United for most of their career and let them go when we had another player playing equally as good or better. The only time we let go of players before that time was when they thought they were bigger than the club, but that was never the case with McTominay. He was the ultimate squad player always giving everything for the team.
Whether we kept him or not, Ten Hag would still be gone. Papering the cracks if he did score a hat full this season, as it would have to have been a hat full to make a difference. I think it's exaggerated with the effect he had on the United team.
Good move for Scott. Man Utd is not going to win the league for the duration of his career so he might as well go to Napoli where he has a good chance of winning a league title. Man Utd fans are toxic and they are horrible to their best players.
He wasn't the problem at Man United, but he wasn't the solution either. He's a good guy and I hope Napoli wins the league, with him being one of their better players there, but I won't lie, selling him for 30M was a good deal for both parties. We needed a holding #6 CDM and McTominay simply wasn't that. The worst business we did in the summar was BY FAR Zirkzee, the man is a complete clown and a terrible player. I don't think even half the championships team would use Zirkzee in their starting line up yet we spend over €40M on him. Pure idiocy.
@ i honestly think he’s a contender for one of our worst ever signings. He’s so slow, he’s unfit, he has a poor first touch, he has poor positioning, poor work ethic and his finishing is atrocious. He should be sold first day in the summer.
I think it's a disgrace that they sold him, arguably one of the best midfielders in the Premier League at the time, why would you sell that. Man utd is my team but wow!
If he was so good why was there not teams willing to pay more and why didn't any Premier League team sign him for more. Also why didn't Eric tenhag start if he was so good in every single game
McTominay never should have been allowed to go. Dump Rashford for a free rather than lose Scott.
Scott would've been the first player on the team sheet under Ruben. Scott and Ugarte in the midfield would've been deadly
no chance
Still midfield ? Lol . Scott will be good playing 1 of the 2 AM position
Oh dear
Somebody does know ball
I miss Scott already it was surprised me he left
Scott❤❤
I wouldn’t have sold Scott… Casemiro and Eriksen should have gone first… Scott was effective in certain areas and had good attitude
If selling scott caused eth to be sacked then it was worth it
I backed ETH as long as I could handle it, gave him more time than most but selling Scott was one of the final straws for me.
BTC would have been a better back then ETH, more dominance in key strongholds. lol
Scott need that move because regular game time is not guaranteed in manutd
He wasn't a reject, Eric ten hag destroyed our team and most the fans was upset

Finally you do a video on a serie a player, his from Great Britain but it’s a start I guess.
He’s Lancashire in Great Britain
Arrest the Man Utd fans who hounded him out.
Shadap dunkey
Both mcTomminey and Fred i think would’ve been great squad players they just don’t work together in the system they were in

😂😂
Hello could have been the player to run and put in tackles besides ugarte.

Ten Hag was handsy, which is why he left
Slow your role... it's Italy... the style of play there is slow and calculated...

The real problem was selling Mason Greenwood! Glory Glory Man United!!!!
30 million for Scott is a crime. 😪
Biggest Mistake Utd has ever Done...Anorim must be Crying..
sauce is quality, i wish him well, maybe he will get home sick

glad mctominay doing great

I wouldn’t say that but he certainly has been a failure

@@fr0ntendgive him time, he's a good player. It's easier to join teams that are doing well, rather than struggling

😂😂 stop

He wasnt good enough 😂😂
He is a good player but not a great player.
ETH sold got rid of all our good players and get stupid players like antony. We lost scott, cr7, de gea...
ETH never wanted to get rid of Mctominay he said it himself
