Every time I picture the perfect strat tone, I think of Lincoln Brewster.
Plexi and an mxr micro amp. He uses a pod. In the helix there’s a mxr micro amp under the legacy effects section, I think it’s called the boost comp
BECAUSE WE KNOW OF MANY CRIMES IN AMERICA THAT HAVE BEEN HIDDEN.
So thankful to have Lincoln as the worship leader and one of the pastors of my church! He is such an awesome man of God all around.
He is a very blessed man to have the talent he has I was told he was a prodigy so that's a gift he was born with from God he is using it to glorify God 🙏 we need to pray for him because I promise you he has challenges we can't understand. Look to the scripture and God and as for Lincoln be thankful he's using this for God because it is a real slap in the devil s face

Yes it's flashy and a guitar instrumental at that but this has made me crazy for the Savior all the more. Makes me just want to explode in worship especially on Christmas Eve!

+sawdust 69 - Tough one. I mean there are some great technical guitar players...Vai, Petrucci, Satch, etc. That said, Lincoln and Satch are really up there on my list as far as overall musicians go. (Edited 11-17-18 for clarity)

At this time Lincoln was offered a (probably very lucrative) contract by a record company... he straight-up walked away from that and went Christian. Coincidence? I think not!

Lincoln is a modern day example from a time when musicians and composers brought their absolute best to the LORD as an act of their praise and thanksgiving for the GREAT GOD that HE IS! Hope more Christians will desire to see their art elevate as the same vehicle of subscribing worth to Jesus as was shown during this video! Kudos Lincoln for blending musical art with visual arts!

To all people who is saying the stage performance is weird.. It called art. Artistic impressions, creative interpretations, a compendium of concepts and ideas to illustrate and expound the meaning of every music he is playing. It is what it is...its called art.
There's no naked butts and panty hoses, that's what's "weird"...women get to dance, get paid and don't have to be slutty onstage...Oh the horror!

What people don't realize, is that he is portraying two realities: he is showing what was happening on earth, AND in Heaven. Heaven was worshipping as Jesus was sent to earth. This is a display of the natural and spirit realm.

I got to meet Lincoln last year when i was at Bayside filming Tim Hawkins' newest dvd and i got to watch him play live. He's unbelievable and that was an intense performance.
Amazing production from start to finish. The nuance, tone, and sustain he's getting out of that guitar are incredible, Jeff Beck and Joe Sat would be proud!
This is honestly on another level from Satriani and Beck. It’s the emotion he’s getting from the guitar that separates him. Satriani doesn’t bring tears and oh shit moments in his music. I’ve worked with Joe and have toured as a Joe tribute and this here is legendary perfection

I actually sing and play drums on 4 songs for praise & worship that Lincoln is on or wrote. "Trading My Sorrows" when he played guitar for Darrell Evans, "Our God" (we also do Chris Tomlin's sometimes), "Today is the Day" and "Surrender" and I'm working on some others soon!
It's a little early yes but it's never to soon to hear this one, I hope there may be a way I can play this version at my church at Christmas eve service, I love this song and I love you Jesus!

It's incredible how the music and choregraphy is build. The moments of tension are broken by the born of the baby Jesus. There's a REASON why Steve Perry chose him amongst literally hundreds of applicants. Because he is the real deal!

@@crashburn3292 it was quite a few. To quote Perry, “there were so many people in this town that could play chops but they had no feel. The more I looked, the more disappointing it felt.” He went through A LOT of people before Lincoln got the gig.

Randy Jackson pointed him out to Steve as he was Sony's A&R guy at the time and he had played bass for Journey in the 80s for a time.

Simply amazing performance and rendition of Christmas songs and showing the spiritual warfare that goes on when you're obedient to God. They were under constant attack but trusted the Lord. Love Linc's playing, both recorded and in concert. As for the video: great to listen to, but I "dislike" it as something to watch. Could we please not switch camera views every 2-3 seconds when the music starts to get heavy? Would be nice to be able to watch him play.
