    Interesting, now let's assume that I uploaded, my CUSTOM THEME,
    1. How do I upload ALL plugins at once ?
    2. How do I cahnge the database ? (since i dont want to re-type all posts and pages created on my local env.)

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  9 месяцев назад

      Greetings! If you want to upload and activate multiple plugins at once in WordPress, you have a couple of options:
      1. FTP Method: Use an FTP client like FileZilla to connect to your server. Navigate to the "wp-content/plugins" directory and upload all your plugin folders there. After uploading, go to your WordPress dashboard, and you should see the newly uploaded plugins listed in the "Plugins" section. Activate them as needed.
      2. Bulk Plugin Installation: In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to "Plugins" > "Add New." On the "Add Plugins" page, you'll see an "Upload Plugin" button at the top. Click this button to upload a ZIP file containing all your plugins. WordPress will automatically extract and install the plugins. After that, you can activate them individually.
      If you want to change the database for your WordPress website without losing any posts and pages, you need to follow these steps carefully:
      1. Backup Your Website: Before making any changes to your database, it's crucial to create a complete backup of your website, including both files and the database. You can use plugins like UpdraftPlus or manually back up your database using phpMyAdmin.
      2. Export Your Local Database: If you have posts and pages created on your local environment that you want to transfer, export the local database using a tool like phpMyAdmin. Export it as a SQL file.
      3. Import Database on the Live Site: On your live server, use phpMyAdmin to import the SQL file you exported from your local database. This will overwrite the existing database, so make sure you have a backup.
      4. Update wp-config.php: In your WordPress root directory, open the "wp-config.php" file and update the database credentials to match the new database you've imported.
      5. Permalinks: After changing the database, you might need to reset your permalinks. Go to "Settings" > "Permalinks" in your WordPress admin and click the "Save Changes" button to refresh the permalink structure.
      6. Test Your Site: Thoroughly test your website to ensure everything is working correctly, including posts, pages, plugins, and themes.

    Good video! Many of my questions were answered.
    However, I would like to ask:
    I plan to buy the Stellar Plus plan.
    -Do I have to buy the SSL ($5.99) to see the "https" on the web address or is the SSL included with the Stellar Plan?
    - Will I be able to download WordPress without problems from the CPanel options?
    I saw that when you were choosing to install the URL, it showed you the HTTPS protocol without buying it from the extras.
    Thanks!

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  Год назад +2

      Thank you! The Stellar plan is a great choice. You don't have to buy the SSL with Namecheap's hosting plans. You get a free Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate for your site. You can download and install WordPress with no problems!

      Greetings! If you can't access your site. Try logging into WordPress and hover over Settings in the left-side menu. Click General. You'll see WordPress address URL and WordPress site address URL. If they both have HTTP change them to HTTPS. You'll then be logged out of WordPress. Log back in and everything should be good to go. Also, it could take some time at first for your domain to propagate upon a new sign-up. I've seen it be done very quickly though. Within an hour or two almost always. If this doesn't work let me know! Here to help.

    • @wpcupidblog

      Greetings! I've ran in to this a few times with various WordPress installs in the past. A workaround is you can choose the protocol as http and then change the https in the WordPress dashboard under Settings and then General. You want to change both URL's to https from http. It'll log you out and then you can log back in and it should then be secure with the free Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate provided by Namecheap. This message could be showing as the SSL from Namecheap might take a little bit to generate if the account is new. Usually the SSL is ready to go pretty quickly based on my experience.
