Here are my 10 extra tips to INCREASE your daily manifestations that I’ve learned over the years..👇🏾
    1. Practice gratitude every morning. When you wake up, list everything that you are grateful for and feel that gratitude in your core. Feel free to write things down in a journal so it is easy for you to remember.
    2. Replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. Every time you feel a negative thought coming on, make a positive spin on it right away.
    3. Take ownership for things that happen in your life. It's easy to blame others however you will feel much better when you realize that most issues stem from us.
    4. ALWAYS believe that good things are about to happen. By being open to new possibilities you are inviting abundance into your life.
    5. Remember that like attracts like so you get back whatever you put out, whether it is good or bad. So do good AND received good.
    6. Meditate for five minutes a day. During this time focus on how you want your life to be; but place your focus on how you feel AND feel that feeling as if you have already accomplished those goals.
    7. Step outside of your comfort zone. Stop playing it safe and make that decision to finally go for your dreams.
    8. Focus on activities that make you feel truly happy. When you are truly happy you have the best vibrational frequency to manifest your desires.
    9. Avoid the naysayers and surround yourself with people who only lift you higher. Downers will be downers, don't let them drag you into their misery.
    10. Don't be afraid to dream and know that you are always supported by the universe.
    Hope this helps!
    - Your Friendly Neighborhood Coach ❤

How multitasking is a myth and not recommended to continue doing it. In reality we are task switching How I need to implement meditation into my life. So good so far. Thanks.

That’s why i don’t multitask now. You sort of not “into the zone” of what you are doing.

I agree, I am constantly correcting myself not to say I’m multitasking because I first learned that it’s not a thing from Darren Hardy. The correct reference is Switching. I also read about it in one of Carolyn Leaf’s books.

I'm starting to listen to this now on my daily walk. I love listening to neuroscientists, mindfulness, peak performance, PEAK MIND and attention and focus. Meditation is wonderful and really helps to be mindful and stay in the present moment. The flashlight, floodlight and the juggler(manager) are excellent metaphors for different states we are in at different times. The power of your story and narrative.Dropping your story allows you to deframe first, which allows better reframing thereafter. Mind wandering is normal and actually builds the attention muscle every time we pull ourselves back to where we want our attention to be.Where am I right now and where do I want to be? #MAXOUT from Israel

Ed, the question is What didn't resonate? Conversations like these strengthen and remind of the profound basics of a kind human behavior.
From a young age, I observed myself and others. At that time I didn't even know it's called mindfulness but I knew, my body knew that it's the right practice and path. I felt so familiar with it so I pursued. (today I created a personal brand around it, soulcostume). Introspection and self-awareness will set you up for a compassionate being.
Lady's communication skills, understanding of an average listener mind. Her simple explanations of the deep mental tools landed nicely.
I wish I could bring her book to my small drop on the Earth's map.

Great Topic. Great Info. Great guest.
Ed, I'm really impressed with your interviewing abilities.
You MAY have a notepad in front of you of bulleted topics that you want to discuss. But I don't ever see you look at it if so. And the way you can go down a rabbit trail to dig deep into a sub-topic, then remember to bring it back to something you told the audience you would discuss, is just fascinating and really appreciated. My mind is subconsciously waiting in a state of suspense for you to get back to that promised topic thereby creating this tension that wants release. And when you circle back around to it, its like resolving a sustained chord in music. This moment of 'ahhhh. There is is.' just happens and it's a satisfying moment; almost like a dramatic film. I don't know if you do that on purpose or not, but it's Brilliant! Great job as usual sir.

@@EdMylettShow one of the things that stands out is being aware that you are aware. Knowing when and where your attention is. It’s something I’ve been working a lot lately. Being aware that I’m aware of my thoughts, feelings and emotions. Also, feeling the feeling of something, like an emotion, akin to how Dr. Dispenza describes in his teaching. What does it feel like to feel love, joy, peace, etc., and can you hold that feeling and focus on it? I appreciate all you’re doing brother. Your content is some of the top out there. #maxout

Great interview! It does not surprise me that her work tied into your earlier talks about rewriting our stories and especially how it related to you talk you did a couple years ago about the thermostat controlling our growth. (Well it tied together for me.) I have been using her analogy of a flashlight and floodlight the last fews days and it has greatly helped my focus. Better than traditional mediation. Another benefit from the talk was the validation that we ALL mind wander. I have always beat myself up for this and would quit mediation feeling defeated. Great stuff.

One tool to help you start on the journey of meditation is to ask questions, and try to answer them. The more powerful question will be the "Why?"

I think that the Mind is complicated, which is good.
It’s easier to dismantle something that is complicated.. such as a grandfathers clock by taking out a single gear, verses dismantling a bolder with out affecting the room it is in …is easier.
I think that there is the logical part of mind, then the .
primitive part of mind, (much more powerful), the I / self-dichotomy .
    Mind is responding to data.
Both parts processing data, or a event.. differently.
One is logical the other is NOT.
Mind is responding to data causing thoughts, feelings sensations in order to cause a action/ it’s response to the thought/ or thought about event, and the meaning Mind has attached.
Unfortunately primitive Mind is irrational..& is ALSO processing the event in the now, so that means.. if you are recalling a event 10 years ago such as a ( rape) that part of mind is processing it as happening, or..it’s about to happen now, or it just happened now.
    (Under conscious awareness.💯
Not everything can be a conscious ).
. And that part of mind is creating the emotional response to cause the action of make it not happen.. make it stop.
    Things are caused…
Science dose not stop when it gets to you.💯🙏🏼
We are programmed, conditioned with beliefs, traditions, like family China.. gets passed down over the generations…
even the belief to be empathetic..
    In which has no value.💯
    But compassion has great value.
You do not get in to quicksand with someone, in order to get them out.💁🏻‍♀️
    How can that have value?
People do not get better by experiencing a emotional response to something that is not happening.
    Dr. Jon Connelly.🙏🏼
You can’t experience quicksand in anyone else’s shoes.. so it may be similar… it’s not identical. You don’t need to be in someone’s shoes to understand their issue in order to help someone out.
If I were looking at you, seeing that you were in quicksand.. I don’t need to understand how you feel in order to assist you.. i do not need to get in to quick sand to understand how it feels… I get it’s not good!
    Preoccupation has no value.
Getting Mind clear, getting primitive Mind on board with logical part of mind has value.
PS primitive part of mind, dose not negate!💯🎯🙏🏼
It dose not process the (not).. the don’t.. the stop doing this.. the I can’t do that.
We are ..( a I can do it Mind species).. we are taught that if we put our mind to something we can do anything..
Well bench press the Empire State Building!🧐 not so much!
Again primitive Mind is running from that program..
It’s not logical! It’s running from false beliefs.. mostly in a subconscious level.💯
While on the other level.. logical part of mind gets that, that can’t happen, and knows that not everything is possible..
The logical part of mind processing data on a illogical level.
Problem is when primitive Mind perceives a threat, logical part of mind is shut down..
Primitive Mind processes a threat as lion…
    Tax audit = lion= death.
You not liking me = threat..= lion= death
    Heavy traffic = threat = lion= death
Threat to primitive Mind is always lion/ predator.
Mind job is to cause thrive and survive.
This is why when someone is angry …anger one of the most perceived threat responses.. you are unable to rationalize with people who are angry, because rational part of mind gets shut down.💯🎯🙏🏼
At least a good proportion of it is.
