Mal took some of it personally so decided to make it a legit fight. Looked like they'd buried the proverbial hatchet at the end though, which is good. Well done to Jacko. I don't think AFL guys, particularly back then, really understood how hard rugby league guys hit and how strong they are. It's a different level.
Mal was a QLD cop. I remember playing RL against the Police Academy in Brisbane in U18. They were not too flash on the football side of things. But by Christ they could fight. I turned around and saw half my team on the ground. lol.
