I really want to hear Scott’s demos as a full song. I mean, Maynard tracked an entire song and wasn’t supposed to.
I finally found out that mechanical sound from the hi hats. It’s a ribbon crasher not hi hats like I thought. I’ve been learning more musical tricks after my 40’s thanks to RUclips. You kids are lucky bastards. “When I was young we actually learned stuff by only listening to it” (Grandpa Simpson’s voice) 😆

Probably my favourite track off this album. I always saw Prince from Diamond Eyes as a counterpart to this and it fits so well in my mind haha.

I love Passenger with Maynard adding guest vocals. That song gives me goose flesh and that is when I know a song has hit me and I love that feeling!
When I first got into deftones but had already been into tool when I listened to passenger I didn't know Maynard was in it but now I listen to it and can definitely tell the two apart

Prince was a huge influence for Chino
