We travel every other year to spend Christmas with our grandchildren. I just couldn't face getting all our decor down when we weren't even going to be there to enjoy it. So, I went to DT, and bought these small houses, painted them white with snow, and made a "town" vignette on a large tray as my dining room center piece. I added lots of the tiny village people and decor......... and put a layer of epsom salt with glitter underneath. For my foyer table, I found two gnomes on skis, so I made another snowy tray with the skiing gnomes with bottle brush trees and lights! We put up a nice table top tree, with all DT ornaments and called it a day!!
Hi Liz, I have been using those reusable bags for many reasons, and the folks I give them to reuse them as gift bags to recycle them. No ripping like paper bags. You can also store Christmas decor in them as you pack away your decor for next year. I put all my trees together in the bags and it also saves a lot of sparkles being on everything.
Those faux fireplaces (lanterns) are really good. I ended buying another one for my daughter. I’m going to paint the black plastic just so it doesn’t look cheap! They really do look like a real fire!
Those little mini fireplaces are amazing. I have only found 1 so far, but I'm definitely keeping an eye out for more. They look SO beautiful when they're lit up!
I have one I bought over 30yrs ago. I made Christmas fruit cakes, decorated the top with white icing, and little Christmas scenes, with the small fireplace, Santa, 🎄 & small packages made of icing. The kids were little & loved to help. 😊

My fireplace I got last year was my most complimented Christmas decoration. I added small picks & a bow. I got another one 2 weeks ago to embellish & give to my sister in law.

I bought the fireplace and it is so nice. I'm going to arrange it with my Santa and Mrs Claus figures and hang little stockings on the fireplace. I also picked up the crystal deer because my boyfriend gave me a crystal village last year. They'll really add to the display. Keep the videos coming.
I bought an 8 serving set of the Holly dishes including the salad plates and bowls. I also picked up charger plates and placemats! I’ve never used Christmas dishes so am excited to have a pretty new set.
I just left a Dollar Tree and they didn’t have a good selection on ornaments but I did really well in the Dollar Plus section. I went into a Dollar General and got the best ornaments, huge selection and all actually $1. Not $1.25. $1

Those mini-fireplaces do work. My kids love to have them in their rooms for a cozy effect during the holidays and all winter long!
I bought $5 fuzzy pillows with sequin trees on it. I opened a seam and put 50% more stuffing in them. They look great.
The color the table cloth would be a good gift for the kids
I bought the gingerbread pillow cases and made pillows and I love it.
