Respected sir, after your materials lecture series, I had become your fan for lifetime, kindly as a humble request, please sir make a video about dendritic and planar growth during nucleation, thank you sir.
Wish India is blessed with teachers like you🙏

Can you explain it for hcp case? If you have made a video then please share its link. Can you suggest any reference book for this topic?

Sir, I have a question. You have mentioned that the missing plane C plane is not an atomic plane. When you explained intrinsic stacking fault. What you mean by this? Or why do you call the C plane not an atomic plane? Could you please explain? Also why you call B plane as atomic plane for an extrinsic stacking fault?

The question is the location of the fault plane. When there is a missing plane the fault plane is located there. But since these atoms are missing, there are no atoms on the fault plane.
So if you have ABCABCABC. Now let us remove the central B plane: ABCACABC. If you see, the fault plane is now located at ABCA|CABC. This is not an atomic plane.
But now consider insertion of a plane C between the central AB:
ABC ACB CABC. You now find that the inserted C is not part of the crystal on either side. So this atomic plane C is the fault plane: ABCA C BCABC.
      I hope this clarifies.
