I have seen some excel files t hat will have a shaded note within the cell that describes what needs to be input into that cell. E.g., it may say Enter Name, or it may say Enter Start Date. How do I do that. It disappears when I start to enter the data it asks for.

Wrong! Iferror doesn’t tell you the real error- div/0 is not an error, it’s a tip that there is a division by 0, Iferror hides it so you cannot fix this kind of issues. ISNA is the real deal!
